Old looking room, stained carpet. Could have used an extra towel to dry the floor since the shower curtain can't keep the rest of the bathroom dry. Only one plug by the bed, so you have to pick between having some bedlight and charging you phone.

Perfectly located right in the center of the town. Very quiet.

This is our second stay. The first time we had a room that was reached by elevator. This time we had to slog our luggage up a long stairway to reach the room. We are both over 70. The staff did not offer to help. They did not assess the situation when I limped in the front door with a cane. If you don't want to have to lug your luggage up and downstairs, be sure to specify that you want a room reachable by elevator.

This is a very well-located hotel in lovely Roskilde. The rooms are pleasantly old-fashioned but clean and comfortable. Breakfast is ample and varied. There is parking next to the hotel but be sure to register your car at the front desk as soon as you check in. Wifi was good. We had two excellent dinners at the attached restaurant.

When we arrived there was a terrible smell in the bathroom, we had to spray with our deodorant. We worked out it was coming from the drain in the shower. We were on the 3rd floor, with only one small window, it was very hot and we could get little ventilation.

Rooms were comfortable. There was a communal area to meet both inside and out. Staff were helpful.

it needs to add small luxuries in each of the bedrooms ie 1) telephone. 2) tea & coffee facilities in bedroom. 3) better wi fi in hotel.

The interior of the room was a little bit outdated. The bathroom smelled musty. Breakfast was downright bad; old bread, dirty coffee, a minimal assortment.

Location is perfect in central Roskilde. Staff is friendly. Nice bar.

Our sons room was a long way from ours and not as modern as ours or as nice. We didnt ask to change but would presume that this part of the hotel was older

Great location with access to the center of town very easily. Parking is at the hotel so that is a bonus if you have a car.

There was no hot water . The room was changed after going to the reception . Same story , no hot water, but spent time and energy on moving things from one floor to the next. At around 6 in the morning, my room door was opened by a staff member - not only did it wake me up, but I really got a fright. The receptionist later told me that it was her, apologised and offered a complimentary cup of coffee, which I declined as that was not really going to amend the experience or lack of sleep.

Hotel is really old, you can see it and sense it. Unfortunately my stay wasn't pleasant as I ended up in a room with unfunctional windows, slide bathroom doors and terrible smell constantly coming from the sewage. So, there was no way to air the room sufficiently or stop the bad smell from entering in the bedroom. I couldn't change to another room on the first day of my stay as they were sold out, but I did get to switch the second night of my stay. Definitely not worth of the price they charge for the stay and not even near the 1 star level with the value. It gets 4/10, only because the stuff and location are nice. The new room was better, but still in general very low value/comfort/content.

The beds were incredibly comfortable and the location is fantastic. The main high street is on your doorstep that leads to the different attractions and to the festival venue. I also loved how well they cater for different allergens at breakfast.

Since the style of the hotel is a bit dated, some things could use a bit of maintenance to give them a fresher look.

The room was clean, comfortable, and the style of the hotel decor is very quaint which fits the town atmosphere. I really liked the staff, they were helpful and friendly. The art in the rooms was a nice touch.

The trash bins were not emptied when I arrived. The room was old and not really cozy. Holes in the wall from previously mounted shelves. The bathrooms drain was smelling bad after every use of the shower. It was ok because I was away most part of the day but i would not recommend it for a private stay. Especially not for the price.

Great location just in the centre of Roskilde. Very good breakfast although I missed danish cheese... Very clean room and bathroom. Hotel is not so big - good size when you like smaller, cozy accomodation. Comfortable car park provided.
