Everything in the hostel is new, but some things no longer work because the staff doesn't pay enough attention to regular maintenance. The small kitchen could be equipped with more utensils for self-cooking, as is the case in many hostels.

WiFi wasn't working at all times

The staff is very nice in particular Amira! She was very kind and helpful facilitating breakfast a bit early. She was always available for any questions I had and she was always happy to help! Abdo is another member of staff that's been very kind and helpful to me. He brought breakfast to my room and he ordered dinner for me over the telephone. I'm very grateful to both of them.

The hostel is located approx 15 walking minutes away from the Tahrir square. The nearest bus station is 20 walking min away. Food markets nearby. The hostel is inside a residental building. At the first sight it looks a bit doggy in the entrance but this is normal for egyptian flats. It offers a common area. The wifi on the second floor does not work though. Bedrooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. For egyptian standards it is kept clean. It has a small kitchen for a basic cooking. Free coffee and tea available as well as basic free breakfast. Last but not least - staff is friendly and attentive! Price/value ratio: great For what you are paying it is more than recommendable!

requested to hostel owners please manage the travelars shoes out side of room and managed at least 3 fan in room .. there is only one fan makes me disappointed

It was a good hostel we werenprovided a 2 room for 5 people with private bathroom and kitchen too I liked it

The bathroom was a bit small including the shower which was a bit small and it didn’t even have curtains.

The property was great, it was very clean and organised. And the table desk was close and available at all times and they were very helpful.

I couldnt get breakfast because they said its from 8:30 but even at 9:30 the cook was still not there. That was disappointing...

I quite liked the place, bed is very comfortable, wifi works fine. There is AC. Bathroom is also Ok, I would stay there again.

I would recommend this hotel first of all because of its safety. Despite some disadvantages that it has safety is the most important issue when you are abroad. Special thanks to manager Mr Mahmoud and thousands thanks to Mr Ahmet ( the general manager) who organized all our trips in the way we wanted at affordable prices. You can really feel safe and you can trust these people at KMT Hostel. The location was nice,pretty central,however not as noisy as it could be in the downtown. The bathroom was absolutely clean, so we're the beds. There was plenty of hot water every day. As for breakfast, it was pretty good, we felt full after having it: omelette, cheese,bacon,bread,jam and amazing tea. Thank you once again. Ilona from Turkey/Georgia

The reception is a little difficult to find at first. I slept on the top bunk of the triple bunk beds, and I feared that I would fall from the bed because there was no bed barrier. I got lots of mosquito bites. if you stay at this hostel, mosquito repellent may help you stay there more comfortable.

This hostel is reasonable and located near Tahrir square. The bed was clean, and breakfast is satisfying.

The bathrooms were a little bit dirty and the bunk beds were too high.

I wasn't very keen on the 2nd hostel abdeen but staff moved me to Kmt hostel 1.much nicer
