Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesI wouldn’t suggest the tour packages offered by the hotel, the price only included transportation, the guides are not needed for these places, Uber and taxis are a fraction of the cost.

United StatesBreakfast was HORRIBLE! All the food is outside from 7am to 10am: milk, eggs, cheese, salami, fruits. No ice, no AC ANYWHERE, they don't replenish the food. If you come after 8am, everything is spoiled already and smells! We all got food poisoning. Breakfast options are limited, everything looked disgusting. Even though pool views were great, pool was dirty, never cleaned, oil on the surface, things floating. Staff on the pool doesn't speak work of English, they don't have pool towels. I had to go to front desk multiple times until someone gave me a towel. And you have to do this every time you want to go to the pool. Hotel was dirty, rooms, towels with stains, curtains dirty. They come to "clean" everyday but they only fix the bed. Floors in bathroom dirty, horrible. Beds are so uncomfortable, you can feel the springs in the bed. Electricity stops working 10 times a day, something it is just a minute but one day it was for 1 whole hour! That means no AC, no elevators, no light....Good luck not getting stuck in elevator. Every time this happens, wifi stops working and you need new wifi password PER PERSON! So you have to call front desk like 5 times a day just to get a new wifi password. Very annoying.
Hotel has great location, amazing views of the Pyramids from the room, pool and breakfast restaurant. We had Family suite room and it was very spacious. Great for the price. There is also rooftop lounge restaurant right next to the hotel and they serve food all day + hookah.

United StatesFabulous stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. But let's be real - the main attraction here is the location. You can spend the day visiting the Pyramids; and then relax in a rooftop pool with a spectacular view of the Pyramids in the afternoon. And when traveling with kids, in the Egyptian heat, the ability to have them relax and cool off in the afternoon while you still feel connected to the location is just priceless.

United KingdomThe hotel was uncomfortable and very run-down, the roof-top swimming pool could have been great but it was filthy and the surrounding area looked like it was used as a staff dorm. In our room, the shower was broken and although they tried to fix it the temperature control needed to be replaced, and there were many sudden risks of scalding. The breakfast was basic, poor quality food, and unappetizing. The reception staff were unhelpful and the manager just sat in the main reception chain-smoking, when I tried to engage the manager in conversation he spoke no English.
The best thing about this hotel was the amazing location at the foot of the Giza Pyramids, the view from breakfast and from the associated roof-top restaurant was fantastic.

United StatesThe staff are very friendly. It's aleast 20 minute walk to the giza pyramid and the national museum. Pricing was fair. They also clean your room spotless. I had a nice Balcony view. They also have store in side the hotel so you don't even have to leave the hotel for supplies. Pharmacy and current exchange was only a block away from hotel so that was nice as well. Everyone speaks relatively good English and some Spanish. Over all great experience I will definitely go back .

HungaryEven a homeless shelter would have a better food selection and quality. The eggs were fried in a dirty and rusty frying pan, and they were always slimy and under cooked so we all got a salmonella infection from it. The elevators are just nasty, the windows of them are covered in so much grease that u can barely see out. There was No hot water in our room , and sometimes the toilet didnt work. There was No internet connection in the rooms, We had to sit at the recepcion if We wanted to use the wi-fi. There were really loud events hosted at the hotel by local people well after midnight, which made sleeping impossible. Overall Its a dirty and very outdated hotel with a great view. Also the hotel is right next to a Huge highway So you will hear traffic noise non stop. To European standards this is a 2 star hotel at max.
The view to the pyramids.

Saudi ArabiaVery bad breakfast, very limited and breads are awful and no oven for reheat. Last day before hours before check out, I left my room for 30 min. I returned back and wasn’t able to use the key because they checked out by themselves without asking me , even so it was very early to check out and all my bags and jewelry inside the room. Finally Mrs. Nour helped me to enter the room . Also I asked receptionists for a stamped invoice with price details to send to my work, they said they will prepare . I checked out then they didn’t prepare the invoice and told me get it from Booking.com. Isaiah I need detailed stamped one for my work. I had to go because they were late and I had a flight. I told them I will have the invoice when I return back. I returned and they left me for discussions and making long calls about my invoice. I felt something strange and mystery. Also I was late so, I asked them to send to my WhatsApp and of course until now I didn’t receive any invoice from them. Prices in the coffee shop mbc are very expensive with very bad quality.
Location is good MRS. Nour was very helpful.
