Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United Statesit was very outdated , old school , mostly all of the hotels near Giza are like this with an exception but you will have to pay a lot more . the bedding wasn’t cleaned but it got changed quickly
loved how close it was to the pyramids . all the tour guides will pick you up anywhere . we thought we would have more time to go and see things around the hotel but we were busy with tours that we didn’t get a chance to see what was around

SpainThe bathroom was a bit too small, mostly the toilet area. We wouldn't recommend booking a tour with the hotel because we felt we got ripped off; they said everything was included but we ended up paying a lot of money for things that should have been included (horse carriage, tipping, entry to a pyramid). The food served at breakfast was good but could have been fresher and a bit more of variety.
The rooftop is amazing, having a bite or a drink with these views is a dream. They always gave you two bottles of water when they cleaned the room. The staff was really nice.

United StatesFor the category and price range we had no complaints.
Good choice of foods at the breakfast buffet with egg dishes made on request. Traveling with a threeyear old who especially enjoyed the fruits. Breakfast served on the roof top with wonderful views straight to the pyramids but an amazingly tranquil setting. Staff very attentive. We could only stay one night but would have loved to stay longer.

United KingdomVery hard to find hotel, it is just past an alley way so it was difficult to get there our uber driver could not find the hotel. There needs to be a sign on the main road for the hotel so people can clearly see where it is. Ran out of juice the second day for breakfast and didn't have any on the 3rd day either, small range of fruit selection for breakfast, and the cutlery was not clean. The socket was broken coming out of the wall.
I liked the staff they were very nice, and the lipton tea was exceptional. The rooftop view was beautiful.

United KingdomMy room wasn’t clean. I found hair on the floor, in the toilet and also on my bed. Asked the staff to change the bedding.
It was newly built and the location was really good, we had pharmacy and shops nearby. I booked a room with pyramid view and loved the view

It's probably the cleanest and nicest hotel so near to the pyramids. Trouble is the area is horrible lol. Noone tells you this so take it from me ..... Cairo isn't pretty

CanadaThere were small issues that can be ignored and no need to be discussed except for 1 main issue. There was NO WIFI. WIFI is a basic service that has to be provided. As per hotel staff, there was some issue in the area from the government. I don't care what the issue was. Internet is a basic service that has to be provided PERIOD. They should have bought a sim with a data plan and shared that with customers. If I'm at your place it's your job to provide it. There are no ifs and buts. This could have been a 9 rating but I will stick with 2 fewer points.
The location was good. The room was very spacious, had ample lighting, and was clean. Very close to the tourist area. The staff was very helpful and respectful.

Singapore- Average breakfast - The restaurant staff are not attentive to guests’ request. We were ignored when asked for omelette and fruit juice. - Wifi was not working on our last few days. The staff claimed it was due to the internet provider.
- Great view of Giza pyramids from the roof terrace. - Very cheerful and helpful reception staff. And very humorous too! Thank you Tareq, Sherien and Seif for making our stay wonderful!

FranceThe bath shower flow was not good. There was no hot water for 3rd person and we had to wait for 20min before the hot water again was available. Bathroom needs renovation.
The view is excellent from the Retaurant. Except the view, the hotel is "Ok". Nothing really impressive to discuss.

FranceThe food was industrial food, breakfast was not good. I asked for an omelette, never got it; the lentil soup was water, and I got sick the last night from the cheesecake. I mentioned it to the staff, they smiled and did not care. I found the morning staff way nicer than the evening staff at the restaurant. The view from the terrace is nice but the location is pretty far from the pyramids and the walk is not super agreeable for a woman traveling solo. The laundry service is very expansive, but negotiable.
I really liked the room. Very clean, modern, comfortable.

ColombiaThe location in Booking is different from the real location of the place. We got an Uber there, and they dropped us off at the wrong location. From there, we called the hotel for clarification, and they just told me to hand the phone to any Egyptian on the street. The person who took the call later rushed us in a taxi and explained that the hotel was located about a 15-minute walk from where we were and that it was better to go by taxi. Once we arrived at the hotel, I told the receptionist about it and that they should fix their address in Booking. She didn't even acknowledge my complain and proceeded to try and sell me their tours. Our room was full of flies when we got there, even though all the windows were closed.
The view from the rooftop is great! Some of the staff were really friendly and helpful.
