Old lift was quite charming but had some limits on capabilities. It was a bit difficult to understand the apartment number and button to ring for our guest. Suggestions for improvement: One more mirror with a nice light for helping us get ready to go out. The bathroom had a complex fixture for mixing hot and cold water in the shower. I would expect a simple thermostat based mixer. Or at least a simple mixer which is common across the world. The apartment itself was on the 5th floor with old charm Wooden windows. But the windows were not sound isolating. Which was normally not a problem as its in a side street ... Except at night... You could hear the garbage truck at 2am and every loud guy on the street.

Needs some rugs or something. All hard surfaces so any small sound seems very loud. It was very quiet overall though but when there were sounds it was loud.

- good for max 4 people. Two of the 4 bedrooms dont have windows and are very small - bare minimum in everything: clean but old towels, no cleanup for 5 days, no real TV, no recent investment in apt keep up. - very bad pillows - very thin walls

Two of the bedrooms do not have real windows, just a wall like 0.5 metres from the glass. The building and the apartment is rather old and worn (but very clean). There is only one bathroom and one toilet. This was ok for us two, but I can imagine that it would be a problem if there are more guests in the same apartment.

We were two friends travelling together, the 3 bedroom was perfect for us. One bedroom is very small and dark, we used it for storing bags. The location is perfect, walking distance to the centre!

Maybe we had an unusual few days, but I'm surprised how many people stated it was a quiet area. We found it quite noisy, finding it difficult to get to sleep, and we were woken many times during the night by noise on the street and other apartments

The AC is only installed in the living room, which makes the bedrooms quite warm during summertime. The host is amazing and responsive, however the personnel in the building is not that friendly, but these are just details. I will definitely keep this option for my next trip to Barcelona.

The TV wasn't a TV but a screen and we could only get radio. The hot water was intermittent. The appt. Was old but spotless.
