We couldn't find fault with the property.

The location draw us to the property. We were pleased to see pedestrian spaces in the neighborhood. We had no problems with finding good restaurants to eat at.

Was not expecting that it would be so dated from the inside, it is in need of a renovation. The separate toilet and bathroom was also unexpected but would have been fine had it not been for the minuscule toilet which a larger person may find difficult to use.

Really dated accommodation, air con is only in living area so all the other rooms get really hot, there was a cockroach in our apartment and the lady showing us around just shrugged it off & left it there, my youngest 2 kids got locked in the bedroom the door handle locked & called the owners to help, no answer & didn't follow it up to check everyone was OK

Communication with host is quite difficult, I received an answer to my question after 1 month of waiting. Appartment is old and so is the equipment, e.g. kettle was broken. Definitely needs renovation. It’s very noisy, you can hear conversations of the neighbours from upstairs. It’s quite dark and smell in the kitchen is terrible. Also there was a cockroach in the bathroom. Gross.

Needed repainting decor looked tired. Needed some soft furnishings as decor really basic. Only one mirror in the apartment and that was in the bathroom . Potential to be a beautiful apartment but needs TLC. Definitely not an 8.4 rating as in booking.com.

Barcelona Guest Apartments met my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the high level of service and the quality of the accommodations. The apartment was clean but also well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, situated in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore all that Barcelona has to offer. The staff was friendly. I had a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend Barcelona Guest Apartments to anyone looking for an affordable place to stay in this beautiful city.

The apartment was very little like the pictures that sold it to us . If i knew what our apartment really was i would not have booked it! Dining room was awful and we didn't use it. The kitchen was very run down and sparse. Considering the cost of the rent there was nothing. No toilet roll. Coffee machine but no coffee pods to use in it. 2nd bedroom looked like a prison cell and when we opened its window the view was awful. Most of the ceiling light fitting looked insecure. The owner was judgemental and not at all welcoming. I would have complained to her but felt she was unapproachable and we didn't trust her. I have used Booking.com for all our holidays but now question their vetting process. I'm hoping to get a call from this review? Just hoping. We feel we have been misled.

The worst host ever, we came and she was looking at us like things that are there only to give her money, no hello no goodbye, dont know how to speak and doesnt deserve to take money with this attitude. Worst experience ever.

The host was extremely rude and didn't even show up on arrival. She asked us to leave on the first morning due to complaints from the neighbors but we weren't even home.

I cannot recommend this apartment highly enough. it is surrounded by excellent bars, restaurants and supermarkets. Its a 15 minute walk to La Rambla and Casa Battlo and 20 minutes from La Pedrera. We walked to Sagrida Familia which took 30 minutes. I thought that we should be closer to La Rambla but we didnt need to be, as everything we needed was on our doorstep. The team were extremely helpful and welcoming and also looked after our luggage on the last day, which was a massive bonus. The apartment was excellent, lots of space and comfy beds. The AC was welcome as it was so hot whilst we were there. The lift was old and quaint which made for an exciting trip up to the 5th floor. We will definitely be back next year, if not sooner, many thanks.

Rooms are a bit dark, no shampoo/conditioner/body wash, they require a $200 cash deposit for damage which is returned at check out but they did ask about the receipt which I'd thrown away. My deposit was still returned and it wasn't made a big deal.

Location was nice at the garden/green strip with the benches but wasn't central orclose to beach, clean apartment, roomy with most needs (washer, AC, detergent, clothes drying rack).

The property had character but it was pretty run down. The air conditioning was only in the living room. No toiletries and the sheets and towels were very rough.

The staff were not very well informed about the area. Simple things like where the closest supermarkets were unknowns. Only when we were about to leave did we see a very well stocked Lidl store 2 minutes from the apartment Anna, at reception, tried her best to help. She was pleasant. What we disliked and what was completely unnecessary was the landladys rude attitude. We were guests, paying good money for the privilege, and we were treated with suspicion and unfriendliness. From coming to check the apartment on check out without warning and telling us off about an open door while air con was on, to refusing to give me back my 200 euro cash deposit if I did not present my original receipt for this payment. I had taken a photo of the receipt and posted it on our mutual whatsapp conversation just in case it was needed. This was not enough proof that it was me who had paid, she said. Who else would have paid for the apartment I clearly checked into ??? Anna could have confirmed it was me, but she was not there even though i sent her a message about this need for proof. So, had I not located the original paper receipt, I would have forfeited my deposit! She said this is standard practice! Never in all my travels have I ever had to produce paper proof of a payment It really marred our last few hours in Barcelona and was just so unprofessional. Booking.com pls confirm that this is standard practice - to need to provide original receipt?

It was a lovely spacious apartment, beautifully decorated- light and airy. Quite close to Metro They supplied shampoo and bodywash when we enquired, which was nice considering they said they don't supply essentials. They also allowed us to check in earlier.

There was very little I didn't like!

The apartment was really spacious and in a wonderful location - 20 minutes walk to all the main centres of Barcelona including the Gothic Quarter and the likes of George Orwell Square. There are gorgeous cafes right on the apartments doorsteps which we frequented regularly. The host was super accommodating, allowing us to check in early on the day that we arrived. The apartment was really spacious and had all the amenities one could hope for including sitting room with very comfy couch, aircon in the living room, comfy beds, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer and a hob. I would absolutely stay again.

there is only 1 washroom between 3 rooms which is unacceptable the rooms are extremely small without AC also no provision for extra towels there is no tolerance for even slightest of noise by the neighbours

The hot water didn't work for most of the trip in one of the 2 apartments that we had The host was a tad grumpy The shower was terrible and didn't really work as no water pressure to actually have a proper shower
