How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Nothing, I had a very nice stay.
Perfect location 2 min to King’s cross-St Pancras station, very convenient to move around London and very well connected to airports. Hyper clean and very nice staff! I’ll try to book there next time for sure!

Perfect for one night to catch the Eurostar. Excellent location. The guy on the desk was so friendly and welcoming. Definitely book again.

Room very small. Shower panels need replacing. A bit noisy from 5am, people coughing and talking outside our room. Could hear and feel the underground trains but not really a problem. A lot of money for what we got
Very comfortable bed. Room and bathroom clean. Kettle, tea and coffee in room. WiFi good. Window that opened. Room ready when we arrived expecting to drop our bags at 11:30am. Location perfect, so close to King's Cross and plenty of good pubs near by

Location fine for Eurostar. Shared bathroom not good if I had been female. Underground noisy but not enough to disturb me. A little annoyed there was a £20 difference on your website by my travel date, but that’s life.

There is no breakfast available. Wi-Fi is slow from the perspective of someone used to German/Polish internet speeds. The internet does not offer the possibility to comfortably watch movies in high quality. Rooms are comfortable and clean, but very small. The staircase is very narrow.
Very good and helpful staff. Location very convenient, very close to metro station. Unfortunately no possibility to buy breakfast, but there are many places with good food nearby open also at night.

The room could need a little freshened up with more modern decoration, but that did in no way impact our stay. The mattresses were thin and not the most comfortable.
The location was exeptional. Only 2 minutes away from the King's cross train station. We easily did everything by walking. The area is beautiful and full of restaurants, pubs and Parks. The reception staff was wonderful and super helpful. We asked a few times for restaurant recommendations, and they always had good tips. They were also able to lend us an adapter since we forgot ours. The room had everything as stated in the booking. The kettle and little tray with coffee/tea/chocolate was a nice little convenience. TV was working, and you can have access to Netflix, YouTube, etc The room was super clean and always smelled good. Someone comes to clean it every day. If you are a light sleeper, make sure to take some earplugs with you since you can hear the trains from afar, and it could potentially be a problem for some. I had mine with me and slept like a baby. Definitely recommend the stay here

Not accessable for wheelchair,- no elevator. I struggled a bit with the stairs, but the staff helped me with my bags. I do love hotel breakfast, so I missed that, but the coffeshops at Kings Cross were two minutes away, so no trouble, really.
We were travelling a bit here and there, and with underground and trains so ,it was super convenient. Very close to Kings Cross. I am disabled, with only so many steps in me, walking with a cane, but had no problems. The hotel was helpful with storing luggage, so we could travel light to Scotland before checking in again a few days later. We did not expect much at that price, but location and aailability chose for us, and we were not disappointed. A clean, pleasant and friendly place.

The room was very clean, but small. There is an excellent bathroom with a powerful shower. The windows can be opened. Close to lots of restaurants and very close to St Pancreas Station

There was no bathroom ( toilet) we could use on arrival.
