How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The bathroom was a bit too narrow
The location is great, many tube lines are accessible via a station 2/4 minutes away so I'd definitely recommend it for people that wanna explore London. The staff is really nice

2 issues: - some construction is underway very close to the hotel, so, at 7AM all the hotel starts shaking (i was at the 3rd/last floor) it is extremely annoying and you could not sleep at all. I did't saw any informati9n on the booking for this from the hotel staff. U would choose different one since travelled for work and beeded a peace to rest in the morning. - didn't expected rooms to be that small, i am a big dude so it was hard for me to do anything in the room.

The rooms were very small but that’s to be expected with the location.
The room was super clean, location is amazing and the staff super friendly. Although the room was small, it was very comfortable, and the heating and hot water worked well throughout. there was also great storage for the room size. I would definitely stay here again.

-small rooms BUT it’s London and a good location, so a small room is no issue!
-very friendly staff -excellent location, right on the corner of St. Pancras international and King’s Cross and just a few stations to Westminster or Notting Hill or what ever -nice cushions -water boiler in the room

Noise of underground, we were in basement room but it didnt really trouble us

the stairs are very tight and steep, also could here a lot of noise from outside even though I was in a back room

Extremely small room. Very very small en-suite. We stayed for one night simply because it was so close to Kings Cross Station and it was cheap. We booked a fairway in advance.
Very close to Kings Cross station. Actually almost on its doorstep. Very good accomadting staff. Some higher end establishments could take a lesson.

Room was fine but on 4th floor and there was no lift. However, had I made a request for a room on a lower floor this would have been accommodated.
Room suitable for one nights stay and near to tube and National Rail services. Staff was very friendly and took note of my request for a room on a lower floor.

The receptionist was very nice and very professional. He gave us great tips on the city and places to eat. The King's Cross St. Pancras underground station, a few meters from the hotel, was crucial because it is the hub of many underground lines and therefore it was easy and quick to move around the city. The room was cozy and clean. I highly recommend it.

Couldn’t fault it
The receptionist was amazing he helped us with all our needs including finding a lost remote from previous guests, he went above and beyond to help us, the room was a great size and the restaurant he recommended nearby was great for us as a family to go and get a lovely meal, ideal location opposite st Pancras which is where we were heading the next morning to go to Disney!

Very tight, narrow stairs to get to room. The room was extremely small. No room for one normal suitcase to be opened unless on the bed. Bathroom was very small- you can sit on the toilet and rest your head on the very small sink at the same time. Shower was small but manageable and very nice. Also room had a smell to it. We thought it was the bathroom refreshener, but don't think so. We chose not to mention it to staff, Not severe. Our room was right next to the fire door so you had to figure out how to open the fire door and keep that open so you could get to your room door- room 27
The location was excellent. The room was clean. The bed was reasonably comfortable. Nothing more to add but have to keep the computer happy. Room was well lit and nicely decorated.
