Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThere were some unpleasant smells coming from the plumbing at points, which made me reluctant to use the shower. Also, weirdly, bedroom doors don’t seem to lock automatically on being closed, allowing me to inadvertently push open the door to another customer’s room when trying to find the stairwell when leaving early in the morning - i’m not sure if it was more embarrassing for me or for her!
Location location location… if, like me, you have a crack of dawn Eurostar to catch then you can’t do much better than the Fairway hotel, which is is no more than five minutes walk away from check-in. Also, despite being in the heart of the Kings Cross area the street was relatively quiet at night, and arriving late and departing early it didn’t feel unsafe. The room was also acceptable. It was small, as I expected, but the bed was comfortable and the bathroom adequately equipped. Also, whilst there was no air-conditioning, I was able to open the window sufficiently to get a breeze going. On arrival at the hotel the person at reception was friendly and helpful, and leaving at the end of my short stay was also straightforward. Overall, for a cheap bed close to Eurostar it did the trick for me.

New ZealandThe bathroom was tiny and the stairway to the room was narrow, making it difficult to manoeuvre suitcases.
The location near St Pancras was perfect as we had an early train to catch. The beds were basic but comfortable.

IndiaThe rooms were a little cramped for 3 people and the bathroom space also was tiny. Due to the lack of air conditioning and limited space to open the window, it was quite warm. Although there was a small table fan that helped. Can be hot for the summers, otherwise alright.
The staff was very helpful and friendly, the location was great and the rooms were clean!

United KingdomThe bathroom was a little on the small side but I guess space is at a premium in this location. I would happily stay here again.
Excellent location for Kings Cross and St Pancras as it's only across the road, 3 minute walk. Perfect for Eurostar. We received a friendly welcome and our room was ready early so that was a bonus. The hotel is clean, comfortable and has everything you need for an overnight stay including a good tea tray in the room and a hairdryer. Great value for money !

United KingdomI booked a ground floor room, due to having cases with us, and to be fair the description did say it would be small. However it was tiny, even by London standards. I’m not sure that it was even a full size double, and no Air con, so it was a hot sweaty scrunched up night for us.
The hotel is directly opposite St Pancras station so excellent for Eurostar departures. We’ve stayed here several times and it’s always clean and there is a warm welcome. It’s good vfm for a a major city hotel, a treat to get a comp tea tray at this price, also toiletries and en suite shower room

GermanyThe room was quite small and cramped, which is fine for one or two nights. Opening a big suitcase would only be possible if you opened it on the bed, so one or two small suitcases would be easier. The mattress was not ideal, feeling a bit thin and springy and the blanket was very hot and synthetic. There was a small fan for if it gets hot, but it was still quite warm in the room overnight (we stayed in the beginning of June).
The hotel location is really good! Very close to several stations and close to nice cafés and bookstores. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room itself had a hot drinks station and a small tv with many stations.
