Location, staff, food and drinks were amazing. And of course the view. The host was very kind to organise us a free glass of bubbly for my partners birthday. Overall a wonderful stay without any issues

Everything was amazing on this property from the moment we arrived someone came to help carrying the bags, Simona with her warm greetings, giving the room for early check in at no charge, providing information about everything on the island ! Everything was amazing ! The room it felt like a suite with the hot tub outside, the view from the room and the balcony, the location itself which is a walking distance to everything on the island.

There are no real complaints here! If I had to be picky, some of the jacuzzi tile grout could be touched up/replaced/updated, but everything was great! As I noted in my Google review, be careful with water on the floor. My husband almost killed me because he left his bathing suit hanging from a hook in the bathroom. The water puddled on the floor and I was wearing the provided slippers and almost landed on my behind! Use the drying rack just outside your door.

Simona, the manager, was nothing short of phenomenal! She went well out of her way to make sure we were taken care of even if she was gone for the day or we were gone before she got to work in the morning, and she set up a catamaran tour for us. The views and location were absolutely perfect - a little off the main streets, but so close to everything. The rooms and bathrooms are a very generous size and very clean. Reasonably priced for the area compared to other places I looked into. There are only 8 rooms, I think, so they are able to provide great attention to their guests. The included breakfast was fantastic! It came on a platter for 2 and included meat, cheese, eggs, salad, fruit, and yogurt. The perfect way to start your day!

The location was perfect! The views were amazing! The breakfast was delicious & the staff was so accommodating. We had the biggest room they had which slept 6 comfortably. The rooms were cleaned daily. They even prepared breakfast boxes for us to take on our early flight back. The personal jacuzzis were a bonus too!

The hotel is perfectly nested on the cliff with convenience within door step to restaurants and shops. I am amazed about the entrance of the hotel - a little door leading to sea view, a few steps downstairs to hotel room. The room is spacious with separate sleeping and living areas. Two bath rooms are nice for family. Private jacuzzi is the best place to watch sunset of Fira. Hotel staff is friendly. Simona helped us with transport and everything.

There wasn’t one thing to change except wish we could have stayed for a week.

Gorgeous views, clean, & spacious accommodations for the three of us. The restaurant had wonderful food, including options for my gluten-free allergy. We were delighted with the friendliness and charismatic staff. Simona. the manager went above and beyond to make our stay amazing.

The showers needed caulking and general maintenance. One of the showers were clogged so we only used one of them. The cots needed reworking. Maybe add some built in futon where the living room sofa is. A few shelves and storage hooks would have been helpful to hang coats/bags etc. More hooks for towels in the bathroom.

The location and views were amazing. The hot tub and outside space was the huge draw for booking this hotel. The views of the caldera at sunset and the morning breakfast above the room was amazing with the views and breeze coming through the windows. The breakfast was the highlight of the morning for us. Delicious and lovely.

The service and breakfast were the highlights of our stay at On the Cliff Simona was a fantastic host, she was responsive and helpful during our trip. She coordinated a last minute catamaran excursion for us which was exceptional and one of the highlights of our trip. She also helped book ferry and airport transfers which made our arrival and departure very easy. Breakfast was delicious and included eggs, meats and cheese, fresh bread, fruit and yogurt, and some Greek favorites including dolmas, olives and fresh Greek salad with feta. The room was as described and as expected for the price point. The bed was comfortable and it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Location was in the heart of Fira, with shops and restaurants surrounding the hotel. The sunset views from our room were well worth the stay. If you are looking for more privacy, or peace and quiet, look outside of the city center. Balconies and soaking tubs are visible from nearby restaurants and other rooms which is to be expected in more congested cliffside areas of Fira and Oia. We would recommend this hotel for a couple looking to be in the heart of town who plans on spending most of their time exploring the island or Santorini. I wish we could have stayed longer. Because the location of the hotel is on the cliff (as the name implies) there are really steep stairs here that are required to be taken to get to the rooms. The staff were amazing in how they were able to carry the luggage up and down (thankfully we didn't have to do it) so luggage was not an issue but do know that the stairs are steep. It was not an issue for us but those with mobility problems could struggle.

The location of the hotel is right in the middle of the shopping area which is wonderfully convenient. The view is unbeatable and the breakfast was excellent as well. My kids loved the cave like showers and the pool with the view. The reception was great for providing suggestions and activities and did a great job to make everyone feel at home.

We loved our stay. We were nervous with the earthquakes previously and the island was pretty empty. The hot tub was empty so that was disappointing but the view was incredible. We laid on our patio and enjoyed the perfect weather. We were able to find plenty of delicious food. I want to come back when more stores are open. Breakfast was wonderful too with amazing views!

Caveat: the hotel (as all of the hotels along the cliff) has a lot of steps, and not person-with-disability friendly.

The view and the location are exceptional; and the host, Simona, is very friendly. Breakfast is delicious.

If there's anything higher than 10, I would give! This place must be paradise on earth! Breathtaking view, incredible place, and amazing staff. I couldn't recommend it more, and I will definitely be back. Simona from reception was extremely helpful and kind. Thank you On the Cliff for a wonderful holiday.

This is only a comment for informing others who stay, *not a complaint, it does require a short walk and going up and down several flights of stairs. Assistance was provided for our luggage.

Amazing location. Volcano and sunset view. Extraordinary Breakfast offering on our own patio overlooking the ocean. Welcoming staff with great communication. Would 100% stay here again.
