There was nothing that we disliked. Everything was more than we expected.

We had a beautiful room with amazing views over the ocean and the volcanic island. Even after a visit to Oia, we were more convinced that we had the best views and most memorable sunsets. Simona, our host, was also fantastic and made our stay more memorable. She was always very friendly and helpful and gave us plenty of guidance and really looked after us. Simona looked after us and really spoilt us. We had beautiful, typically Greek breakfasts with great views. We were close to plenty of shops and restaurants and couldn't have asked for a more convenient location. We loved our suite with its own dipping pool, which we used a lot. We will certainly be back.

First of all, the view was AMAZING! Just like the photos on site. The location was perfect! The room was very clean. We were warmly greeted by sweet Simona. She was so attentive to any of our needs. She followed through with all requests. On the Cliff is VERY LUCKY to have this dear lady! The breakfast was freshly made and delicious. I especially loved the fresh salad, fresh fruits, and endless coffee that came with it! I enjoyed the hot tub also. Thank you for a memorable stay and look forward to next time.

Super friendly staff! Simona makes you feel welcomed and she is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and the room service was excellent. We had amazing breakfast and the location is perfect in the heart of Fira. Only our jacuzzi was not working which is the only negative thing, beside that we highly recommend staying on the Cliff.

I wish the tub is hot and the temperature is too cold to soak. Bring a bucket heater and long extension cable if you want to make it hot (check with the staff first).

The view is amazing and it’s comfortable place to stay and a starting point for our trip. The property is also nicely designed in the style of Santorini. The hotel cost also includes a breakfast and it’s excellently prepared. The location is super convenient close to the main square and the trail to the old port and cable car. At first I was very hesitant to stay here because the TripAdvisor rating is very low, but it beats my expectation. Overall I would recommend it for winter stay (not sure how well they do in the peak season).

Our rooms were clean and comfortabl and the views were gorgeous! Ive traveled/stayed at many places, but the staff here was exceptional. Simona made sure that we had everything we needed, including arranging transportation/luggage transport throughout our stay and she was easy to communicate with. This took so much pressure off of us, which allowed us to simply enjoy our stay! The connected restaurant/bar had an amazing and fresh breakfast each morning. Kostas (and others) served us well and made us feel welcomed. I would definitely stay here again!

It was perfect

Simona and the On the Cliff and Bar One team are awesome! Incredibly welcoming, helpful, pleasant and fun. We were able to have the 3 rooms all on one level so it made it that much better and you cannot beat the amazing views, hot tubs and pleasant atmosphere. Sunset every night was a highlight. Rooms are diligently cleaned and prepared. If we needed anything Simona and team took care of us. Will recommend this to anyone.

You come to Santorini for the views, and you will get that here!! Nice, helpful staff. Amazing views from our balcony and from the restaurant and breakfast spot at the top of the property. Everthing you need is right there, restaurants and shops surround the property. The cable car down to the port is an easy 3 minute walk. If you choose the stairs, they come right up to the bottom of the property. Perfect location.

Beautiful location in the heart of Thera. We had a private jacuzzi and a beautiful suit, steps from dozens of restaurants. The room faces West and we drank wine and watched the sunset. It was beautiful.

The only thing as a down side was all the stairs everyday but that was to be expected.

It was a beautiful view and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Simona arranged a boat tour for us and airport transfers and it was great.

At night you can feel smell of food from the neighbouring restaurants, but the whole city has this situation.

The view is amazing! The jacuzzi from the deck was awesome, I have used it daily. Simona from the reception is very sweet and will help you with your inquiries. We received from her a complimentary bottle of Greek wine. It was very clean, the room and the pool were maintained daily. The breakfast was very good with a superb view of the Caldera.

We spent a week in the On The Cliffs Suites, with a stunning view of the caldera, and a beautiful sunset every night. The suite was cosy and welcoming, and we particularly enjoyed the jacuzzi. The staff - especially Simona - were very kind and helpful with booking activities such as yacht tour of the island and aiding us with whatever we requested. If we were to return to Santorini, we would without a doubt return to the On The Cliffs Suites.
