Very nice hotel, clean, with good food & water included. All personnel are just amazing, best attitude ever. Special thanks to Alex from reception who helped to plan a route by car for the sightseeing. Beach is 10 min walking, but we were with a car, so this was not a problem

Coffee, sweets/cakes, ants in our ground floor room. Some of the people in the restaurant didn’t bother to answer to Hello… The other part of the restaurant staff & reception very nice, professional & dedicated.

We appreciated that we had all we needed at our disposal( all inclusive concept). Pools open from 8 to 20,30, 2 pool bars, ice cream available all the time.

The WiFi wasn’t great and the food wasn’t amazing but we still found things we liked to eat

Great for the price, the pool and facilities were amazing we found the room very comfortable and was nicer then we expected, perfect if you are young with many young people around and good vibes. The bar was really nice aswell and the staff were all accommodating!

The hotel is excellent. The food is very good and varied. The drinks were also varied. Friendly staff, quiet in the room. Everything you need was in the room. We arrived at 09-00 and could already have breakfast. Our room was ready at 10:00 and we did not have to wait long

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Solimar Ruby Hotel, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Beginning from Check-in, everything was running smoothly. Very nice stuff, starting from reception to the cleaning stuff. The restaurant was always very clean and the food in a nice quality. Also the cuisine themes like Italia, Tex-Mex and Greek were done very well. There was always a place to find, in- and outdoor to have a breakfast or dinner. Both bars were very comfortable and the drinks delicious. All in all, a beautiful stay.

We booked a large room and 2 single beds a long time in advance on booking.com website. We had deliberately paid more for this room as we were 3 adults. When we got to the hotel and checked in, I realised that I had been given the wrong room. I showed my booking to the receptionist who replied that they did not have any other rooms available until 3 days later. I has been given a room with a large bed and a sofa bed which were the cheaper option on the website. In the meantime, the 3rd adult on my booking stay was uncomfortable. His feet were longer than the sofa bed. I was really upset. Clearly the room I had paid for had been given to someone else and they did not have any other alternatives. No refund given- I even paid an additional charge for the safe in the room. On the 3rd day of my stay I was finally given the room I had paid for which was far more better. We could finally unpacked our clothing, shoes etc into the wardrobe. - I had 2 cocktails on my room bill ( extra charge not included in the all inclusive drinks) which I asked them to levy when I checked out due to my issue with the room. - lack of entertainment - only available once a week

Location- walking distance to the beach ( 10 mins), bars and clubs ( 5mins), bus to airport ( 5 mins - only accept cash). Hotel- breakfast-dinner good 2 pool area with lunch and bars. Friendly bar staff

Manager and staff extremely welcoming and friendly. No request ever felt too big, ensured we had connecting rooms as we had kids. Food - good variety of choices each day. Even prepared a snack in our room as we were checking in after 23:00. Hotel very nice and well maintained. Pools were great. Rooms serviced everyday. Had a fantastic holiday largely thanks to how friendly and accommodating the staff were. Other family members arrived the day we left and are also having a great time

Main building is very old need updates. Old furniture and very old bathroom.

We had a very good time with the whole family, the location is excellent to the beach 5 minutes walk. The view of the mountains is amazing, the supermarket is close as well as all kinds of cafes and restaurants. Special thanks to the manager Michael for his responsiveness!

Wi-Fi could be a bit better

Food was lovely and varied. The pools were nice and clean and the bars by the pool were great. Rooms were good and we had a nice view of the pool. Staff were incredible and went above and beyond. The hotel owner was amazing and personally helped us out when we lost our suitcase in the airport. Everyone was chatty and had really good communication with us! Location was perfect for us and was in walking distance of everything we needed.

We had already told the Hotel I had a problem with my back, when we arrived a very arrogant girl was on the reception, she gave us a room with two flights of stairs, I explained my problem, Her reply was well lots of people climb stairs with bad backs 😂these r the stairs, l had to climb several times a day, we have travelled all over the world and had never come across a reception like this, normally receptions are very kind and caring, and try to meet your needs, never again,

All the staff were absolutely brilliant very kind and considerate would help you with anything, and Cleaner was very nice too kept our room very clean throughout our stay, thank you,

When we arriving I have shocked, after Rethymno region .First thought,what I am doing here 😂But receptionist was nice. When we get our room (it was royal part in the hotel) it was nice ,clean and much move view . But to get beach you need pass a lot of deserts with garbage and cemetery. Of course,if you are coming for swimming pool, it is not so bad ,but for other things I am not recommended Malia at all.Food was acceptable,but only for few days.Drinks was horrible ,I recommend to hotel at least have few good quality drinks for kids.

Clean rooms ,but only royal is with nice views,other wise you will oversee garbage and desert with garbage.Food was ok ,but earlier for same price we got much better. Water Refreshments every day . Hairdryer in the room .Nice swimming pools . Nice service .

Even though it is rated as a 4 star hotel, and you pay for 4 stars you get a good 3 stars. The old building it is old and needs improvement. Even in the newer building there is mold in the bathrooms, but the conditions are a bit better. It also states that is 600m away from the beach, which is not true. It is actually 1.2 km from the beach. The trip to the beach it is fairly easy, however, it can take a while.

The staff was great. Really nice and smiling and very welcoming. They handled any complaints and tried to make things better.
