Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CanadaAppreciate if we had some facial tissues and paper serviettes in the room.
All the attractions are very close buy. It is very easy to find food. The staff is extremely helpful. Kiva, Nataliya, Sidhu and all the other gentlemen (I'm sorry, I don't know the names) were very kind and pleasant to us. maps were given.

United KingdomThe rooms were like ovens. Way too hot and no airflow. The mattress was so squishy that you were in fact just sleeping on the board of the bed. The kitchen floor needed some serious cleaning.
The location was great. The staff were super helpful - they tried to sort out any problems they could, like putting cutlery, crockery, pans and a kettle in the kitchen that when we arrived had nothing.

United KingdomNoisy room. No coat hangars. No daily clean. The invoice was as per my expectation but noticed that the cleaning was shown separately and was £60 for my week long stay but the room IS NOT CLEANED OR ATTENDED until after you've checked out. And it seems you are expected to bag up your rubbish and take it down to the bin area so what are we paying for? I gather it is shown separately as it's performed by a 3rd party and Dave was unaware of this charge. There are no coat hangars provided unless students leave them behind and I think Booking. Com should highlight this. Binary Hub may get some in but people need to know this. Some of the facilities and charges as described by Booking are misrepresented and/or not made clear and my last place booked through them a month ago was frankly a hovel and although I will complain to them separately I think my time with them is ending and I'll see if Trivago etc can do better but again I stress that apart from some variations in the friendliness of some of the reception staff the things that have annoyed me are mainly out of Binary Hub's control but they are aware after my long and friendly chat with Dave who took time out from a busy day to sit down with me
Location was fine for me; wanted to be near the railway station and that was a 9 min walk. WIFI excellent, nice hot and instant shower and a comfy bed . There were some negative aspects which in fairness before posting this I discussed with Dave, a really nice and helpful guy. Going back to the beginning, if you get a room and haven't unpacked and the window overlooks a park ask for another room. In the long days there is plenty of noise from kids and adults but also noisy and inconsiderate adults walking by in the early hours. Not the complex's fault but I suggested they give those rooms out last. A

United KingdomThe rooms did get very warm as there was not air con and the windows were quite narrow. In the communal kitchen the fridge had been unplugged which we only noticed after leaving items in the fridge so had to plug it back in. The bed was quite small for 2 despite being a double and the bathroom light was on a sensor and as the shower was tucked in the corner of the bathroom often the lights went off whilst showering!
Great location easy to walk into the city centre and just round the corner from the Guinness Storehouse. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful especially when we had an issue with our key fob and sorted it quickly. The complimentary tea coffee and snacks every morning was a really lovely touch ☺️

United KingdomThe building was too warm. Every time the lift door opened on our floor a blast of hot air hit us, it felt like the heating was on (though this may just have been a symptom of being up on the 6th floor). The room was thankfully not as bad as the hallways but still rather warm, even with the window open. Even a small desk fan would have provided some welcome relief.
Overall good value for money. Staff were very helpful accommodating a late check-in and an early morning check out. The rooms aren't anything fancy but the bed was comfy and the room was clean. Location wise there are several shops within a few mins walk. The building is within easy reach of many bus stops and the tram can also be reached within a few mins walk providing easy access to the city centre attractions. Heuston train station is only 10-15 mins walk from the building.

TurkeyNo real reception; laughing so load, shouting, speaking very loudly, a full mass, dirty. Kitchen doesn’t have enough utilities used common with other rooms. Most probably the left overs from other customers.
Location was ok but a very close by park with youngsters; drunk and tipsy with smoke.

United StatesYou get what you pay for. The place wasn’t terrible, but there were some key issues—no A/C, a very uncomfortable bed, and although I asked for an extra pillow, it was never brought. It’s a budget stay, and it shows.
