Our only comment is that the room was quite small. We were there for 2 nights.

The attention to detail. There was everything we needed in the room. The owner was great, nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic breakfasts: fresh fruits, yoghurt, cheeses, home cooked ham, blueberry muffins, freshly made coffee.

The breakfast was perfect for our needs. Fresh and appetizing and yummy. The location was quiet and away from downtown, yet an easy walk to restaurants, shops and pubs. Our hostess was delightful, welcoming and full of good ideas and Irish hospitality. 😊

What a great host, kind and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The host was welcoming and was very helpful with tips about the area and recommendations for eating places. The room was pleasant and clean. An added bonus compared to others, it had some tea and coffee making facilities! Crucial for someone who likes his coffee first thing in the morning. Provided good quality robes, towels, toiletries. I noted not all provided shampoo and gel. So kind she was, she made sure we took some cakes for the road. Thank you!

It’s a bit too far to walk into town to get dinner so be prepared to drive- otherwise an excellent accommodation.

It was a slightly longer walk from the town than than I thought Once I knew where it was - Once used of it enjoyed the walks to the town centre.

Superb host, Room was very comfortable. Small ensuite but perfectly adequate. Location good. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic. Such a huge choice of breads, cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts. Probably the best breakfast we have ever experienced in a bed and breakfast.

we had an excellent few days in Bantry, and as it was only a five minutes walk to the town centre, it made life a lot easier for us. The owner Peggie very friendly, and made the best breakfasts ever. highly recommended

Not a thing, just be aware that navigation systems might bring you to an address a few blocks away.

Peggy was so welcoming once I found the place (hers is 7 Slip Park, not 7 Slip Grove like my navigation system sent me to). I have knee issues, she helped me carry my carryon up the steps to where the sleeping rooms are and got me some mint tea and Epsom salts to enjoy my jacuzzi bath. Once I got into bed I discovered she had a blanket warmer on, how wonderful! I slept great and around 8 am was treated to a magnificent, continental breakfast of assorted cereals, breads next to the toaster, various teas or coffee, juice, hard boiled eggs, a plate of three cheeses, ham, smoked salmon, Greek yogurt, museli, fresh fruit (apples, oranges, kiwi, bananas, and blueberries), dried fruits, butter and jam, such a fabulous spread!

The B&B is easily reached by car and parking is available. The owner was lovely and very helpful and the dog and cats were adorable. The room was tidy and clean and the breakfast was overwhelming considering the size of this small B&B!
