As the house is in a smaller neighborhood, a few dogs nearby were a bit noisy but never at night.

Bru na Pairc was a very comfortable B&B easily walking distance in to Bantry. Peggy had a lovely, very robust continental breakfast with a selection of meats, salmon, fresh fruits, breads and cereals. Our room and the dining room were all very clean and well cared for

We stayed only one night, we really liked the house, very cozy and atmospheric, the rooms are equipped with everything you need, everything in the rooms is neat and clean, the breakfast is wonderful. The owner of this house is very friendly and hospitable.. Overall, we really liked everything and recommend it to all vacationers!!!

As it was a rainy evening, the house was just a bit too far away from the restaurants to walk, but Peggie had very kindly offered to give us a ride. We had known about the distance in the first place, so we can't blame anyone other than the weather.

Peggie is a very friendly and caring host and her house is in perfect condition and very well maintained. The rooms were very spacious, the bathroom a bit tiny for my body size, but you don't dance there 😉

The angle of the TV simply didn't work - no matter how many times I tried altering its position on the wall (above the wardrobe) there was a constant irritating black shadow/glare on the screen; I usually don't require housekeeping (environmental and sustainability reasons), so I was a little irked when things like plastic bags and forks were removed from my room (though they weren't in - or even near - the trash); the breakfast room is certainly not for claustrophobes or introverts and can get crowded and loud (though of course this is expected in a private establishment); shower pressure was weak...

The owner is very friendly and welcoming and goes out of her way to look after her guests - she even offered to pick me up after I arrived on a very dark and rainy evening on a bus from Cork city to Bantry (it seems Peggy is an incredibly busy woman, but has boundless energy and is an example to us all!); the breakfast is fantastic - great choice all round and a cooked breakfast is offered on weekends (menu included); the room and bathroom were comfortable - I particularly liked the jacuzzi; ample teas and coffee etc provided in the room and this adds to the homely atmosphere; a spacious and comfortable front room was made available to guests...

I felt like I was at my grandma house. That's not a super luxury hotel, it's not wat it is intended to be. That's a very cozy place to relax and enjoy the nearby. Super breakfast

The Bathroom was a bit tiny. Couldn't dry or dress in it at all. Shower pressure was poor. Still a nice place to stay though.

Nothing, it was what we needed after a long day driving, quiet, comfortable and convenient.

Easy to find, comfortable, friendly dog, fantastic continental breakfast, plenty of choice, all fresh and beautifully presented. Peggie is a very busy lady, running a taxi and the b&b so we only saw her briefly, however she was very friendly and accommodating.
