It was a bit run down. Room had been redecorated recently but just repainted and new floor put down in bathroom, but the work had not been done well and everything looked a bit tired. The shower leaked onto the floor because the seal was broken. The bunk bed creaked and wobbled a lot, likely just the screws all needed tightening up.

Very easy to get to and the beach was amazing. Food at dinner was absolutely amazing. Breakfast was a huge disappointment, when we went down to Breakfast we were just to where to sit and that was it.....the table was sticky and and chairs were covered in food. The selection of fruit was grapes and melon ( thr did replenish it after about half an hour). Bread was rock hard so all u could was toast it. When we went to get hot food and it was like pulling teeth the server look so bored. It really brought down the night away.

We arrived on Sunday and the tables outside were stacked with empty glasses, while behind the bar inside were ready to serve us. Maybe one could have cleared the tables outside.

Very friendly reception host. She really told us everything and wrote down the way to the Irish ferries

Mattress was past its best. Disappointed that breakfast only from 7.30. we were catching 08.45 ferry so not able to have cooked breakfast as wouldn’t have had enough time. considering close proximity to port, would have been great to have been able to have had breakfast at either 7.15 or even 7 am.

The bed was a bit noisy and the toilet was right up against the wash stand.

The restaurant was excellent and stylish and everything was fine generally with good parking etc.

The bar etc were busy when we arrrived about 10..30pm but noise did not reach our room. However at about 11.30 pm our room was very noisy due , we think, to bus stop outside our window.

Everything was fine for one night stay. Might have been a different story if staying for holiday. Pub atmosphere okay but with it being very busy, it was also quite loud. Pub first, hotel/rooms second i would say.

Arrived late but checked in by bar staff without any problem. Bar/dining/entertainment area offering pub atmosphere. Enjoyable singer entertainment.

The decor of the hotel was too dark. For a seaside resort, everything was grey. It would of been a much more inviting hotel if there were brighter colours to reflect its excellent location. Breakfast was lovely, but I would of liked the option of an omelette. The fruit was very space.

The bathroom was in need of refurbishment. The shower was hanging off the wall and we decided not to use. A screeching noise every time the water/light/fan was used. Not ideal!

Bathrooms need upgrading....grouting around the bath was old and grubby and shower head was quite dated.

Room 102 needs serious TLC - mold on walls - need of paint - dirty marks - chipped furniture - both EV chargers out of order - 1 random big LED strip light on the wall - painted grey (felt like prison) poor see through curtains - hair in bed. Spoke to staff about this - they were helpful but fully booked and didn’t have another room. Shouldn’t be able to charge €160 for a room in that condition. No lamps in the room. Didn’t feel clean or comfortable. Didn’t match picture on booking.com

The room and ensuite are very tired. Needs renovated. Breakfast should start earlier due to the ferry time. I booked breakfast but it started too late. One of the staff also asked me to write down my credit card details which I refused. Doubt I will be back

The room was shoddy, had to ask for a hairdryer. Facilities were basic for suite price. Holes in carpet, all paintwork chipped and bathrooms in poor shape. Shower leaked all over the floor in bathroom. Everything in room tired and lacked value for money for stay. Only booked as it was the last room available. 160 euros for one night was far beyond its value.

Barman and breakfast staff were helpful and kind.
