Perfect location, easy to find and stunning view! Mary who owns the house is kind, nice woman. She’s done a magnificent work restoring and furnishing the house. It is filled with charm and care, I absolutely loved it! Cobh is a beautiful little town and West Beach house is right in the heart of it.

Only thing that caught us by surprise (didn't know in advance) was finding rooms were on top (4th) floor. Still the exercise was good for us and view was spectacular. Not a criticism but it would make the stay more comfortable having small kitchenette facilities with wine glasses, plates and cutlery in the small room near the bedrooms.

Lovely old terrace that's been renovated smartly with some very nice pieces of old furniture. Centrally located to explore the beautiful town with excellent aspect across the harbour. Street parking was easy to get. Rooms were very comfortable.

Delightful hosts, well appointed cozy cottage in a garden setting offering everything we required in an excellent location in the center of town. Easy walk to the train station. Cafes and restaurants outside our doorstep. Museums and historical sites within a few minutes walk from our stay.

Sharing a bedroom with an extremely large wardrobe, housing the owners belongings. Consequently our small suitcases and rucksacks took up what little floor space that was left, leaving us in a room with an obstacle course. I felt the price paid was a little expensive for a home room.

On the harbour front. Very close to activities such as the Titanic museum and lots of dining options. Self contained garden room - microwave and fridge as well as crockery and cutlery. Our hosts Mary and Michael were very friendly. Mary even baked us home made croissants in the morning, which were delicious. Parking on the street outside.

We liked everything!

This is an absolute gem! We were lucky enough to be assigned to the garden room. The wisteria framing our door was in full bloom, making the garden experience all the better. Mary, the host is delightful. We would have stayed longer, but our schedule didn't allow.

The only thing we didn't like was not getting to say goodbye. Hopefully we will be back someday (and see how the patio garden has evolved ;o)

I liked absolutely everything: an old building in perfect condition, a separate house in the garden. The house has all the amenities: a toilet, a shower, a miniature kitchen with a sink, a microwave, a coffee machine, a kettle, dishes and cutlery, a small fridge. A large bed, bedside tables with lamps, a wardrobe. Special thanks to the hostess: Mary bakes delicious croissants for breakfast what serving with raspberry jam.

West Beach House is a beautiful place to stay in Cobh. Great location beside the train station and near everything in town. We really enjoyed our stay, Mary is a lovely host.

Mary was such a welcoming host. Our room was so cosy, we both felt totally at peace. I have never felt so attached to a window in my life haha, view was so beautiful.

Lack of storage in the room on top floor left was a issue for us. A beautiful very large wardrobe but only about a quarter available for guest no drawer for tee shirts undies etc Also lock on bathroom door broken it could not be closed not too bad when showering but definitely not the best when using the WC It would have been nice to have even a small fridge where tea and coffee was I a not a big fan of UDH milk. It would also be nice to be able to put a bottle of water in to keep cold

Just a brilliant place to stay. Owner could not have been more helpful. Yes, there are stairs but it is well worth the climb for this lovely sea outlook over JFK Park and watching boats of all sizes come and go. Great atmosphere. Comfy bed. Lovely decor. Food down the road at Jacob’s Ladder was great. Faultless stay. Thanks Michael!

None to think off, perhaps only that the other rooms on the higher floor do not have elevator access which may limit some elderly people and families with small children.

Everything was excellent and owner was extremely helpful all the way. Due to our delayed arrival she wait until evening to attend and solve all our questions. As we had a baby with a stroller and the floor rooms do not offer elevator, we were offered a free upgrade to a spacious apartment on the ground floor. The location is amazing!
