Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Easy to get to and locate property, good instructions on how to gain entry to property via lockbox, good location for airport or tayo park which is close by, we used it for an overnight before an early flight, good facilities and property is as listed and as per pictures, good communications leading up to and during the stay. car park on site. quite property.

Bedroom feels like it's on a slant. Slept OK though. Glasses needed rewashed before using but the cleanliness throughout was great other than that.
For the money you couldn't ask for much more. Has everything that you need for a day or two. I would stay again

The heating was very poor for the fact that my wife and I had small kids aged 4 and 3. We were cold almost all through the night not until 06:00am when the timer came on.

1 sofa for 5 people. 4 dining chairs for 5 people. Uncomfortable spring beds. Hard to use electric radiators - manual would help Under Dublin airport flight path

bed was a little small but there were 2 adults in the double bed. also no where to hang clothes. even a little hook on the back if bedroom doors might be beneficial. everything else was excellent.
Well fitted out. staff were fantastic. I left my charger behind and they returned to me with no hassle. milk, tea, coffee, cereal provided also. very private and safe. free WiFi, strong signal. free parking right outside door. 5 stars

We arrived at 9pm. It was quite cold (October time). The second night was better as we had the heating on. Bring slippers.
Nice, clean and modern. Self check in Surprisingly spacious. Everyone slept really well. The fabulous Deli at Maxol Ratoath

Turned up to our cottage.It was double booked, someone else was already in it.My son with autism was getting flustered and distressed.Rang the number available and they got us a lodge around the corner.Better location but was being renovated.Should of gave a discount for our bother

We came back from our evening to no water in the bathroom and kitchen. However I texted the owner first thing in the morning and they had a plumber out within 2 hours.
Very modern and well looked after. Beds and living area very comfortable

Aesthetically, the outside is not very nice. It is right beside a storage unit facility.
The place was clean and the staff were helpful. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had enough pots/pans etc. for us to make a light dinner. It’s a short drive to the airport.

You could hear the hum of cars passing by in the morning.
The property was well located, clean and comfortable, ideal for a family of four. It also had secure onsite parking, it was also very fairly priced.

Arrived in the dark and couldn't see the Apt. number due to a car in the way. Was looking for Apt. 1 and saw Apt. 3, 4 and 5. They all had a number on the wall outside whereas Apt 1. had a sticker low on the door for the number. Not a big issue but worth noting if arriving in dark.
Property had ample facilities and space. Good location - heading to Emerald Park.

The double bed could do with a new mattress very uncomfortable could feel the springs. Unable to open patio door to front Hairdryer not fit for purpose. No oven to cook.

If I was to pick one thing, it would be to put black out curtains or blinds on the bedroom windows. I was up with the birds because of the brightness in the room. It's nothing major.
My kids and I loved everything about the property, the location, the space, the cleanliness, the facilities.
