How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We had a short loss of water as the pump needed to be reset, but the staff responded immediately and it was a very minor inconvenience. When there is an issue at a hotel, one finds out how responsive they can be and this hotel passed the test.
The Hotel is quite interesting in that it is part of a complex of buildings all interconnected internally. One can go from the hotel to either a simple restaurant, a pizza place or Fritz's Pub for breakfast, dinner or fine traditional music without having to go outside. We stayed in one of the suites which were in row-house style buildings very close to the hotel. Breakfast was good as was dinner and evening music. Cliffs or Moher Experience is nearby by car or cab. There is nothing not to like here.

the bar area upstairs was very small, the bar should be where the library is . spa is also small, it should be free to guests. the 20 euro charge is petty.
breakfast and dinner were very nice and view from restaurant was exceptional, treatments were fabulous and all hotel staff were very friendly

We dont have sugar on the table and ketchup or mayo and aking about it when is busy at restaurant is just annoying. And the worst 4 start hotel wifi no working in room was hard to check anything at all there is no signal to Use own broadband from phone. You have to go to reception or library room.
Great breakfast for sure dinner was good very nice hotel in between mountains we have Been in Spa for jacuzzy and sauna cost 20e per 1h per person was nice there is some Water and some fruits for treats. Bedroom was big enought and great bed shampoon and shower gel in bathroom. Room was warm enought for night time.. Staff very nice and helpfule.. there is a lot of atraction behind hotel for kids for exra charge and rent bike but you need to have sunny day for IT. We are happy with our stay.

The views from around the resort are stunning! Hotel was excellent, good facilities and the rooms comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good and all the staff were helpful and friendly. .

Nice place, excellent food with reasonable pricing. Nice rooms with a lack of maintenance, door sound, no water pressure in the shower. Without this things recognizable by the cleaning staff it would be excellent

The only think missing from the room is a small fridge where someone can store things especially when traveling with small kids.
Location was very good! Very nice Restaurant and seating area with a library! The room was very spacious and comfortable!

Could do with touch ups paint and varnish wise around certain areas

Everything. It was a beautiful setting with the most amazing views and the Delphi is the perfect hotel for such beauty. The staff , the food and the location were all exceptional and we will definitely be returning, its tucked away in the mountains and is a hidden gem. We could not fault this hotel in any way and very grateful we had the pleasure to stay.

The only slight downside was that the adult bed we had in the room seemed a bit out of date, so it wasn't very comfortable.
The hotel is pretty and blends in very well with its natural surroundings, the staff are friendly and the rooms are spacious. The restaurant and bar are comfortable with a lovely view of the mountains. The food (breakfast and dinner) is really good. On the children's side, the lovely bunk bed made our son very happy. In brief, we had a very good break.

the queen bed was really just two small beds pushed together
the place is gorgeous and the rooms are spacious and clean. Lots of outdoor activities and walks. the spa is very good as well

Wifi was only partly available in our room (it was usable when standing next to the door but not from the bed).
Hotel was really nice, staff phoned us in advance to prepare our arrival and book the breakfast/dinner and spa treatment. Really good hotel overall.
