Jim is a wonderful host. The house is beautiful, and the cows were a bonus in the field.

We had a couple of things to put in a fridge overnight, but the kitchen was locked. Not a major problem at all.

The breakfast was self-service, non-cooked which suited our needs very well. Everything was fresh and easily accessible. I have seen a wider selection elsewhere (eg hotels) but for a bnb this was perfectly adequate. The location of the breakfast venue, and the house as a whole, surpassed all expectations.

Fantastic country house with a large well furnished, clean room and en suite bathroom. Lovely breakfast too. The host, Jim couldn’t have been friendlier. We will definitely be returning.

Breakfast was self service in the kitchen of the home with no one around apart from 2 other guests. And the cat, asleep in a box. All slightly eccentric, but I like that, which is why I stay in B&B and not hotels

Lovely welcome. Wonderful very comfortable characterful property. Best of all, the owner Jim Doyle could not have been more helpful. His knowlege of local fsmily history was fascinating for me.

This house is absolutely fabulous! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the spacious and clean room, which provided a comfortable retreat after a long journey. There was a massive bathroom, featuring a fantastic shower One of the best aspects of our stay was the full access to the beautiful, modern kitchen. It was well-equipped and perfect for preparing meals or enjoying a cup of coffee. To top it off, the host generously offered complimentary sandwiches and tea. The outdoor space is equally impressive, with a stunning garden that creates a peaceful and inviting atmosphere. It’s a perfect spot to relax and unwind. What truly stood out during my visit was the owner’s exceptional hospitality. They were beyond helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed and eager to ensure my stay was enjoyable. Overall, we highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway. You won’t be disappointed!

I think it was unusual for our particular visit but we only saw our host once - at breakfast. It would have been nice to have had more contact with someone. It just felt a little strange. The owner was friendly on the one occasion we saw him.
