Value for money hostel in great location
    • Leisure trip
    • Family with young children
    • Standard Family Room
    • Stayed 1 night

Room was a little cramped for 4 people. But very clean and comfortable. Somewhere to dry wet clothes would have been great given it was a typical Irish summer with continuous rain.

    Staff very friendly and helpful.

Toilet stalls are very short. Difficult for larger people to fit comfortably.

    Simple accommodation but well done.

Not the best value for money with bathrooms and toilets being shared. Floors in the bathrooms were wet from amount of people using them.

Kitchen and community space were nice, they had everything you'd need. Also nice staff.

    nothing.

The hostel is lovely, about a 1.5 km walk from town centre, so it’s relatively quiet and away from the crowds. I booked a solo room, but will say that the dorms are small and don’t sleep that many people, so probably would’ve been alright with a dorm bed. Plenty of really nice camping spots here too. Staff and owner are great, and it’s the cleanest hostel I’ve ever stayed at.

A drying room would be ideal for campers and walkers when the weather is damp

Some coat hooks in the rooms would be a great help.

Great kitchen facilities, quiet after 11.00pm. Lucille in Reception was friendly, professional, polite and helpful. The kitchen has everything you need and very spacious so guests can find some space to cook and eat.

The only downside was the shower system. You have to press a button to keep the water running, and the water stops after just a few seconds. I understand it's designed to save water, but the intervals are so short that you end up pressing the button repeatedly, which isn't very comfortable — and you can get cold during your shower because of it.

The hostel is very well located, close to Dingle town, and it really has a special charm. The aesthetic has a rustic, countryside vibe that gives it a unique and cozy atmosphere. It met our expectations, and for the price, I think it's definitely worth it if you're planning to stay a night on the peninsula.

The showers - poor pressure and short timer.

Freshly decorated room and the most comfortable hostel bed I've ever slept in. Friendly staff. Quiet location but walkable to town.

Was given a room next to the toilet, which made it so it was loud at night when people got ready to go to sleep. Did not accept card to pay for the towel rental (was not mentioned before arrival) and to check out early we had to call a phone number that didn't get answered.

Nice staff and calm location. Room was comfortable and clean. And you could rent towels to use for little money. Location was very calm with great views and not far from city centre. Lots of space to park the car.

I recently stayed here with my brother, mother, and daughter, and we had a lovely experience. The location was convenient--not far from the city center--and we appreciated the free parking right outside. They also provided a free cot for my daughter, which was a thoughtful touch. When we arrived, a staff member was there to greet us in the kitchen area, making us feel welcome right away. For a hostel, the amenities and overall comfort exceeded my expectations, especially at such a great price. The only downside was we had to share a bathroom but we were absolutely fine with that I'd definitely recommend it for a comfortable and budget-friendly stay!

Shower facility is pretty rustic. Getting laundry done was great, but the guy charged me 10 euros for one load.

Stayed in the hostel for two days on a walking trip of the Dingle Peninsula. Beautiful location and easy walk to Dingle. Facilities are basic, but comfortable. Room slept three, but I was the only one staying in it. Great communal kitchen well equipped for most cooking needs - if I were to stay there again, I would cook a meal instead of getting instant stuff. Cast iron stove in kitchen area made it cozy. Also, they did my laundry, which was great but expensive.

Showers were a little out dated and could do with a shelf to put your things down in.
