The friendliness of the staff and their professionalism, in all their different roles eg receptionist going to the door of hotel to show where my tram would be , waiter checking my gluten free scone for me etc etc, loved the interior design as well as that feeling of luxury. And an amazing view from the.back of tbe hotel seeing Liberty Hall from a new angle!!

The bathroom door was awkward to unlock.A car alarm could be heard during the night.

All was really good and I'm sure all guests had a great experience. However, and this is a personal viewpoint, I would like to see a bit of attention devoted to the history and cultural significance of the hotel. It is part of the Riu chain I know, but in ways, it feels like it could be any city in the world when the Gresham is perhaps the most historically significant hotel in Ireland. When I enquired, a manager provided a book on the hotel's history which I appreciated. However, I thought some additional information around the lobby perhaps might enhance the experience even for those not as interested in history as myself :)

The room could have been a bit cleaner lots of cobwebs along the tops of the curtains and hairs in the shower tray on arrival.

Our room was hard to get to. Two elevator rides and long hall ways. Very dungeon like with its low ceilings. I don’t think there are any Irish working in that hotel.

Big comfortable room. We found the staff very helpful and friendly, I was delighted to receive an umbrella on our departure as it was raining outside! Well done the Gresham!! Breakfast was delicious.

Our room was a little small with only one chair, so not ideal with one sitting and one on the bed. Another time we would choose a bigger room.

Large open plan foyer and bar areas, breakfast rooms were delightful. Excellent breakfast each day, one of the best.

I like the location The beds were very comfortable and the room very spacious. However the echo in the hallways with doors slamming through out the early morning and late evening was much - there needs to be a soft touch close to the doors or carpeting in the hallway to absorb some of the sound - also the floors in the room need to be mopped - the cleaning staff was good but it was not the most thorough clean. I would get out of the shower and my feet would be dirty if on the room floor. Also more outlets needed in the room! No outlet in the bathroom is odd. Breakfast and front desk/ food and beverage staff were very good. Location was very good as well.
