How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Old style mansion building brand new refurbished with modern high quality finishes. Location perfect in between beaches and restaurants. No staff visible, all registration and check out on digital basis but easy and self explanatory. Very clean and tidy. 2 Kitchen per floor with fridge, microwave, Nespresso and beer complimentary.

The garden shared area can be upgraded

Amazing place with lovely decorated, spacious common areas with outside space as well in a beautiful historic villa in Neve Tsedek. Great location just off the old railway track. Very recommendable!

As written in other reviews, there's no staff on site, but that is not a problem at all. The information regarding our stay were sent to us a day before our arrival and it was all perfectly clear. Also, in the room there is a telephone number if a guest needs anything.
During our stay, we loved the particular style of the place and the cleaniness of our room. The location was amazing: near the Neve Tzedek and the beach, but not in a crowded or noisy area. Our stay there was perfect!

We were told there'd be a cleaning service in the room each day but we didn't have it so beds weren't made each day etc.
Nice communal lounge areas with complimentary beers. Great location for exploring. Good air conditioning and great bathroom with rainfall shower. Staff were responsive via booking.com messaging or whatsapp. Good hairdryer.

I have traveled for work- great place, design fine and have a perfect atmosphere, small rooms but the spaces are shared and comfortable, beautiful place ill come back

I asked for a room next to the garden since smoking is not allowed but I got a room on the second floor there was a balcony in the second floor, but i thought my room will be next to the garden. Other than that everything was great.
The location , easy to check in, the staff are online most of the time if I need help or anything, they have accepted to extend my parking time for a little bit longer after the check out

Well I check all reviews and nobody seems to write the cons. The rooms are very close to each other ,there’s no feeling of privacy because you hear everything thats going on in the corridor. For those who need to sleep in darkness the room will not answer to those needs. lot of light in the morning.Woke up early. The bed mattress and the pillows were very stiff and not comfortable.The bed was very noisy it was really annoying. The closet was a rack open no draws it wasn’t comfortable at all. A small table or even a small sofa could do a big difference. We found a brown stain in the sheets it was unpleasant they should throw those sheets. The day we stayed was raining apparently all the rain enter in to the bathroom all floor was wet it was unpleasant. I contact them they were attentive they offer to send someone but we decline.they agree to compensate for it it was a nice gesture.
We arrived to a great area close to everything great location.the place is clean self check in easy to manage. The coffee machine was nice and water We arrived to the room we celebrate our birthday they left us wine was a nice touch

The TV didn't work It took a lot of time for someone to come and check it.
The place was clean and pleasant. The location is also very good. It's a very good choice for tourists.

It’s important to understand this is not a hotel there’s no check-in just a code and the room. Shower was a bit broken could be maintained better .
Very minimalistic room was decently clean in bed was comfortable

No reception, so you can't check in early or even talk to someone. The room is very basic - missing another chair or a couch.
Nice basic room. Great location. The balcony was very nice - right in front of the park "Hamesila" and the "Teder", so you will get a very nice TLV vibes. Quiet street most of the time. Beer and Coffee are free

Room has too minimalistic design, no closet or mini fridge, overall weird design. Extremely narrow bathroom access (door opens into the very narrow bathroom).
Great location, room and common areas are clean and well eqiuipped, bed was very comfortable, complementary Nespresso and beer. Staff was kind and helpful.
