There was only one good thing about the property: the hotel staff. Property: 1. Property is located at a great location, but the management is soo poor. They have a private waterfall, but it was very poorly managed. Elixir Hills per night price should be INR 4000 to 5000. I paid a premium price, which was not worth it. 2. Swimming Pool - The pool is in front of the dining area with no changing room or locker. People were jumping in the pool in full clothes, and it was a horrible sight to see people coming out of the pool in full attire and walking around wholly wet, creating a mess in the alley. Plus, no one is there to clean it regularly. Imagine people walking wholly drenched in the hotel lobby. 3. We got the worst room experience after paying 10000 per night. Plus, a terrible smell came out of one of the bathrooms. We stayed for two days and intentionally stayed out of the property and waited for the stay to be over. 4. First place, where they charge 20% extra to deliver the food to the room. 5. Neither the view nor the stay at this property is worth any penny. Please look for other properties rather than going ahead with this one. It's soo badly managed - The pool table doesn't have chalk, the Table tennis table doesn't have a racket - One can imagine how poorly it must have been managed to miss these basic amenities. When we ordered ice, they didn't have an ice bucket; they served it in a bowl and covered it with foil paper. I never wrote a review, and first time writing this much. to save other people's experience as Munnar is gorgeous, and a bad stay could ruin the experience. Plus, we hardly get the time, and when it's ruined by such a nightmare stay, then it's worth mentioning and advising other folks not to spend a penny at this place.

The only thing good about the property is the hotel staff. Otherwise, nothing else in this property is good. The staff was cooperative, and the rest property rating is 0.

Swimming pool filled with dead insects and leaves.While swimming near the central tree, An insect fall from tree and bite on my finger which causes pain and swelling on my hand. I informed the reception and provided sanitizer. Then I applied the natural remedies for insect bite like mixture of turmeric powder,salt and coconut oil. I slept the whole night with shower cap on my hand to protect the white bedcover.All the above made my stay inconvenient.

property is poorly managed in terms cleanliness. Not worth the money that you spend for a night stay and doesn’t come close to what other resorts are offering, too pricey. There’s even dogs close to the pools and the surrounding are not clean.

no maintenance at all , all gym equipment’s are Brocken , no sauna and shower facilities on massage parlour , swimming pool water smelly and did not clean the pool , children’s slides are not clean , sports center equipments are Brocken and nothing available . hairs are on bed as well as in the toilet from previous guest - absolutely not worthy and discover short of the staff in restaurent and garden cleaning

Nothing about the property was good except for the mannerism of the staff. The resort looks nothing as shown in the photos. The swimming pool was really dirty with lots of bugs, leaves and even food particles. The towels and linen were not clean. The linen was crumbled and the towels had lot of hair in it. They had photos of snooker table in the website but the snooker balls were missing. The food was really disastrous including ala carte and breakfast except for the South Indian menu in the breakfast. Rooms were not of 5 star quality which you expect in a 5 star resort.The furnitures including sofa were poor which was a wooden bench with a cushion on the top which kept sliding continuously. The bed kept creaking.

Like i said, nothing to dislike about elixir hills!

EVERYTHING! ♥️ There is nothing dislike about elixir hills. The property is situated in deep woods, far away from all the city noise. Perfect for people who wants to spend some time with their loved ones and be close to the nature. Their staff is very helpful and professional. If anybody plans on booking elixir hills then you have to meet MOHIT. He’s the best. He will take care of you very well.

The room was not up to the mark, room service was below expectations, there were power outages. the common areas were wet(although it was because of rain but resort staff should have cleaned it). The bathroom was leaking. Room main door had a hole, so privacy was also a concern, although it was fixed by resort staff temporary basis.

The property had their own waterfall, the pool was good.
