Fantastic Stay at Explore Hostel Life, Jaisalmer! I recently stayed at Explore Hostel Life in Jaisalmer, and it was an incredible experience. The location is perfect—right in the heart of the golden city, just a short walk from Jaisalmer Fort and other major attractions. It’s ideal for backpackers and travelers who want to soak in the rich history and culture of Rajasthan. The hostel itself is clean, well-maintained, and beautifully designed with traditional Rajasthani décor, which adds to the overall charm. The rooms were comfortable, with cozy beds and air conditioning, ensuring a good night’s sleep even in the desert heat. What really stood out to me was the hospitality of the staff. They were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, offering great tips on local sightseeing and even organizing desert tours and camel safaris at reasonable prices. The rooftop terrace is another highlight, offering a stunning view of the city, especially at sunset. It’s a perfect place to relax, meet fellow travelers, or enjoy some local cuisine.

Stayed for 2 nights in a female dorm, felt safe and comfortable the whole time and room was very clean. Close and easy walk to the fort and nice view of it from the roof. Staff were super helpful and kind, let me stay in my room after my checkout time as I was feeling sick. Felt very looked after and had a wonderful stay. Thankyou so much!!

We arrived at Explore Hostel Jaisalmer around 6 AM and made a last-minute decision to stay. My friends and I were feeling unwell, and the receptionist was incredibly kind, offering us a room to rest in until our dorm was ready later in the day. The service was excellent, the place was great, and the location is perfect. He even went out of his way to show us to the bus stand. Highly recommended!

The host Amit G is an exceptional guy, he arranged free pock and drop for us during our stay which was truly an exceptional gesture from him also he offered as Butter milk free of cost which is not that big deal but the way he shared the local drinks with us was truly amazing. Recommend for families, couples and old bachelor's too. Thanks Explore Hostel Life for making our stay special and comfortable!

His family is welcoming. It’s easy access to the town. There’s a rooftop to sit on. The beds are cute. It has all that you need here. The property has an amazing rooftop with an unreal up-close view of the fort. The rooftop is a super nice place to hang out, drink chai, enjoy the sunset and chill with friends. The owner Amit is very nice and friendly, he helped us with travelling around the city, and was always looking out for us. The restaurant has really great food and the chef Balam was super nice and generous, and was always making sure i wasn’t hungry! The hostel is family-run and has a great vibe. ☀️🌻

It is a very lovely hostel. Clean & hygienic. Vibe is also very amazing. Staff is very polite.And in the evening, sitting on the terrace, a very beautiful view of Jaisalmer Fort is visible. And everything is at walking distance from here like Gadisar Lake, Jaisalmer Fort, Patwa Ki Haveli.

One of the best hostel experiences in India so far. The people who run the hostel are super friendly, warm and welcoming. They organise games on their rooftop terrace, yoga for free, have a great rooftop view and decently clean rooms. Would recommend this stay!!!

Great experience

It was a great experience. Service was good and staff were very friendly. Dessert safari which they are providing is best experience and comparatively budget friendly. The way how they are treating after our safari was surprising. They were ready to drop us to station, their doors was open for us anytime and very welcoming.
