The only downside was the bathroom. While the toilet was fine, the showerhead was rusty, and the water didn’t seem very clean.

Red Lotus was a pleasant surprise! The room was spacious and clean (especially by Indian standards), making for a comfortable stay. The Wi-Fi worked flawlessly, which was a huge plus. The location is excellent—right in the center of the city and just a short walk from major attractions. What truly stood out, though, was the reception staff. They were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist me with train ticket issues. Their attentiveness made a real difference. The room was also well-equipped with both a fan and air conditioning, ensuring a comfortable stay even in the heat. I’d definitely recommend this place for a few days.

One big deal braker issue for me is the vicinity of way too many cellphone towers, for those sensitive to EMF is a dissaster, the emf pollution is of the charts, couldnt sleep at all, tired all day. Second thing I did not like is they asked me to pay full amount before coming to the property treathening me they will cancel the booking if I dont pay, which is in violation of the agreement

The bathroom was smelly. Manager was rude. I asked for extra bed sheet and he immediately showed me Treebo’s customer care number and said I can move to another hotel if I don’t like the hotel. I was told the stay would be on ground floor because I was travelling with senior citizen parents, but the hotel reception is on the first floor.

Since the hotel is lower than hygiene level according to the Treebo hotel group which has this hotel, Treebo made this hotel stops working until the hygiene and clean level is recovered. Therefore, Therefore, I could not stay at this hotel. Cancel fee was refunded very quickly.

Just wasn’t warned that the hotel’s entrance closes at midnight so couldn’t get out of the hotel to get some air.

Ideally located near Nehru Park/Manakula Vinayagar Kovil. Nice view when you get out of your room. The room is very pretty. The staff is discreet but friendly.

The breakfast was a moderate spread and a couple of dishes were not refilled once empty.

The rooms were very clean and the AC and restroom was quite clean. The staff was friendly. It's close to a lot of main attractions in town and saves on a lot of transportation money. Worth the money, had gone expecting worse but was genuinely surprised for the quality of the rooms considering the cost.

There are no parking facilities available and that was not mentioned during the booking process. I have to park my new car 1 KM away and worrying about car/parking.
