Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomIt is amazing to find a private room at this price and for breakfast to be included is exceptional. Silke was very friendly and helped with great advice on where to go. The kitchen, dining and lounging space was excellent. The rooms and beds are small but at this price it is to be expected. An truly fabulous bargain, ready to beat the crowds to Geysir the next day.

the property was out in the countryside. when we arrived the owner met us in the carpet and immediately asked if we had seen the northern lights and helped us locate them. the rooms/communal areas are extremely clean, wifi is good and breakfast supplies were a great help.

Great place to stay and the hosts are really nice. So close to the secret lagoon. Its literally in the middle of nowhere and that makes it more easier to see northern lights. We got to see them luckily and it was a clear night.

Silke is an amazing host! The room, facilities and bathroom were all very clean. She made us feel like home, she provided lots of free things (cereal, milk, bread etc) and gave us a book with so many nice suggestions and details of things to do in in Iceland and in the area. Even though we shared the bathroom, everything was so tidy and clean. We were also lucky as we saw the northern lights from just outside the farm. Also Secret lagoon is only 6 min away by car!
