Everything, the staff were all friendly and helpful. Access to tea and coffee as well as filtered water was brilliant as we had 35 Deg C during our stay. The room was comfortable and breakfast was varied and enjoyable. The lady who made breakfast made the experience even better with her enthusiasm to help.

The hotel felt homey and the staff was wonderful. The building was beautiful and had a pleasant garden area. We loved the happy hour and sustainability focus. The room was huge when compared to other hotels. The breakfast was also good and it had exceptional value for money. Even though the location wasn’t in the city centre, it was still great and it wasn’t very far from the centre.

All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The decor was beautiful with lots of quirky features. Lots of lovely extra touches including happy hour that enabled you to chat to fellow guests. Location is spot on being only a 20 mins walk alongside the river directly into the old town. This hotel stood out on a holiday full of exceptional experiences. We would highly recommend hotel David.

The staff is wonderful, made me feel so welcome, and very helpful. Arranged for my early morning cab to airport, gave me breakfast on the go, gave parting gift. Greatly enjoyed the evening happy hour and easy access to small kitchen where there were drinks and pastries when we arrived. The hotel is very clean, quiet and safe. Wish I could have stayed for several nights.

We have traveled through Italy and France for a week and a half and stayed at 5 different hotels. Hotel David is far and away our favorite. It is endlessly charming and the amenities combined with the excellent service made it our favorite stay in Europe. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

We have some bugs on the cover of the window, I assume they came in from outside as the window was open, but maybe it would be better to keep the windows shut.

Overall comfortable room, with balcony, okay view from the window, not too loud. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom. Very nice staff at reception, free water, tasty breakfast and good coffee (better than most of the cafe places lol)

Nothing! It was perfect and I wish we stayed longer.

The staff was above and beyond friendly and helpful. She even offered to help me repark my car because I was struggling with it. Everyone was so kind and the space was so charming and cute. There was a little bar and water refill station which was such a great bonus available to guests at any time. Breakfast was OUTSTANDING. Best scrambled eggs I've ever tasted and and incredible spread with delicious fruit, juices, breads, croissants and hot items. I wish I had more time to stay and eat. The chef even came out to bring a high chair for our kiddo. They had convenient EV parking which was a lifesaver, and they even let us keep our car there after checkout time. The area was very secure with a locked fence and the public spaces were sweet to hang out in. The room was spacious and beautiful. Can't say enough good things!!

Staff are fantastically helpful, location, rooms, breakfast, nearby neighbourhood restaurants, happy hour and happy hour snacks. The real magic of Hotel David are the staff - the front desk: Tommaso, Chiara, Arianna and Caterina; Marcella at breakfast; Cosimo the happy hour producer; Michele who works behind the scenes; and the owner, Gabriele, who has set the culture of service and care for the guests over this long period. Bravo to you all.

It was quite a walk from the centre but you could hop on a bus that would take you in.

It was a great facility- the staff is super friendly, rooms are docent sized, very clean & comfortable, delicious breakfasts on a cute little terrace, and the parking is a huge plus. The city centre and the pointe vecchio are located within 10-15 minute walk so it’s a perfect distance to be away from hustle and bustle.

The service level provided by the staff was superb. It is a special place. The extra touches the hotel provides, such as the Happy Hour drinks and snacks, speaks to the hotel’s commitment to making your stay feel like home. The breakfast has lots of options. We like the location, 2km from the city center, as it is quieter, but with numerous good, reasonably priced neighborhood restaurants and other services. Easy access to public transportation.
