BelgiumIt's not a five start hotel so don't expect super luxury. Hotels in Venice are expensive. For the price and location it is unbeatable. During our stay we had very rowdy guests who at 7.30 decided to make a big noise in the foyer. I get the feeling this was an exception as the janitor (guy running place next door) came around to investigate what was going on and was livid.
The people running this hotel are lovely. Will go out of their way to make your stay work for you. We needed to drop our bags hours before official check-in. Which they arranged. The location next to canal and was brilliant. The dinner is at the restaurant owned by they same people who run the hotel. Lovely home made food. Daniela is right spark and made us feel super welcome. Great for families and having dinner included just takes the hassle out of locating somewhere to eat, when you have tired kids after a full day of sight seeing.

United KingdomWe turned up for our check-in at the time that we were supposed to turn up, but nobody was there for us. We waited and waited because we really wanted a shower before heading out for dinner, but literally nobody came, so we had to head out without even being able to use the bathroom. The room wasn't anywhere near what I saw from the pictures when I booked, but that's not my biggest issue. The day we left, I accidentally left my washbag in the room and in the wash bag there was jewellery as well, so I contacted the girl who did our check in, Cristina, to ask her if she could have kindly sent it back to me and I would have paid her for the postage and of course for the bother too. She ignored all my messages, so I had to phone her a few times and when she finally answered, she said she would have sent it "whenever she would have had time". It's lbeen 3 weeks and not only I haven't got my stuff back, but she keeps ignoring my messages. I have also tried to phone countless times the landlines but nobody ever answers. Leave your hopes at the door if you are wanting to get a hold of staff there. I have had to phone the local police officers to ask them to do something about my jewellery that Locanda Salieri are holding for no reason - absolute shocking customer service, literally the worst you could ever imagine.

RomaniaI had a room with view of the garden. A few mosquitos got in while I left the window open. This was mid November.
Location is near the train station. Although the area is very lively during the day, it gets pretty quiet at night which makes for a good sleep. There's no staff present but you receive all the information you need per email.

SpainLet’s start. Check in. I’m working at the hotel and I can tell that check in without receptionist may be good but only if you prepare everything in advance. I really don’t understand why while travelling to another country, on day of my heck in, standing near the door already without any information how to get in, I should call to the number given here to ask which is the entrance code. You should provide that in advance, I don’t have to call you to know that things. After calling lady sent me a WhatsApp with some kind of information but I still had questions. After asking her in WhatsApp I was waiting for the answer 3 hours and finally received short answer which basically also should be written in advance. But that’s not all. The “best” thing was that in the evening at the time of taking shower we realised that there is no hot water. That was a really unexpected surprise you definitely don’t want to have during your travel. So if you want to enjoy your holiday in Venice, I recommend you to choose another hotel
Location is nice, really close to everything. But I think in Venice anything is close to any place. Aldo quality of food during dinner is quite good

United KingdomI wouldn't even give 1 star to this hotel!!!! When we arrived to the place and went in our room it looked different as stated on the pictures on booking.com. The window was broken "fixed" with duck tape, the bed was filthy dirty!! Red spots on the bed , black small pieces of I don't even know what? Hair on the bed! It was DISGUSTING!!! I don't even start talking about the smell of the room.... I asked the owner to give us another room it has been refused , then been told to leave pr they can send a cleaning lady to fix the room !!! How?? Also they gonna fix the broken window??? After that we left , booking.com and the owner refuse to refund our money, the owner offered to give a voucher next time I visit ??? Joke!!! We needed to pay a last minute place to sleep somewhere rather than the airport for extra money few minutes walk from the hotel. AVOID AVOID AVOID disgraceful "hotel" !!!!!!!!!! The owner asked to remove the bad review and they promised i will get the refund ! I never got my refund and I am now rewriting the review and opened a case with my bank!!!

United KingdomThe instruction was that the dinner is included. But even there was a restaurant next door, that dinner was arranged in a different place, a short walk from the hotel. As it was raining, I did not feel like walking there. And there is no breakfast in that hotel either. For the price I paid it was rather disappointing.
The bed was comfortable. Even there was no staff at the hotel, I was given all instructions on how to get into hotel and my room. Everything worked smoothly.

United StatesWe’ll, the host was non existent. We saw her once when we checked in. The bathroom was awful!!! and I mean awful! There was a large amount of mold on the ceiling, the shower drain was plugged and the water was pooling in the shower, on the bathroom floor, and into our room. There were no amenities..no shampoo, body lotion, etc. The pillows were like cardboard. Our reservation stated that dinner was included, but there was no host to ask about where to get it. A disgusting place to stay!
Loved the view of the canal. The air conditioning worked well.

AustraliaBedbugs! Stayed here for one night and got bitten by bed bugs! We had two rooms, one double and one triple. The triple was a double with a fold out and the person worst affected with bugs was on the fold out. Mould growing out of the bathroom fan. The meal at the restaurant was ok, but would have been been better off eating elsewhere. Over all cleanliness is not acceptable and would not recommend anyone to stay here.
