Literally black MOLD growing everywhere in the bathroom. This wouldn’t even be difficult to clean just throw bleach on it?? Actually this is a health hazard it is so dirty.

A bit far from city center, bathrooms were clean enough but felt a little weary in moments. And the Lenin situation wasn’t the best. No duvet cover. Just 2 sheets

Maybe just because of the off-season, but there was no soap in the bathrooms and the kitchen sponge to clean dishes needed to be replaced. The room was clean but smelled like dirty socks and b.o. At night, there are no curtains on the windows so you get awoken by the motion detection light.

Overall this place was a good option for a quick trip in Como. The location is excellent and they have the basic services needed in the kitchen. The dorm room was well-lit and clean. The guy at the reception was super friendly and kind, so thank you for that. The people in the dorm were also quite friendly.

The bathroom heater was a bit too hot, and the floor got wet after showers. I was expecting another breakfast, but I guess for that price it was fine.

Staff is very friendly and room was very clean. Thats enought for a good hostel IMO. Hostel is near the lake, so you can walked by the lake and go to the center.

One of the staff came to the shard room and asked me for city tax which is €2 at 6:00 in the morning and I shouted at him Do you need it now?! And he left the room. The kitchen was with no widows it was cold place for cooking and eating

bad attitude staff slept in different bed due to medical problems spoke to me like I was a criminal totally out of order should not work there room I was in was empty so I found spare bed please don't stay here

I’d give 9 if a few things that are constantly mentioned here in reviews were fixed. Seems that the management doesn’t look at the comments or ignores it. No soap in the toilet, such an easy thing to sort out. Toilets were rather freezing (I know it was December when I visited but come on… however I don’t know where they’d put the radiator in there since the cubicles were so tiny that it was almost impossible to move). Ah sorry there’s something even easier to fix - there’s no single hook/hanger in any toilet cubicle 💆🏻‍♀️ One of the room’s 5 walls is basically floor to ceiling windows with only mesh curtains. There’s a movement sensor light outside of this room and it’s basically bright all night in a room. Again - such an easy fix - normal curtains. The kitchen needs more love - pots with no handles, 4 (for real 4) mugs, a few plates. If you want to make a tea you have to boil the water in a sauce pan because there’s no kettle. There was no salt, no sugar, no oil (some other guest bought salt). On the fridge info to label the food followed by “you can find labels at the reception - lol - great system, literally nothing labelled). And here comes my biggest pet peeves (seen not only in this hostel) - the beds aren’t done, ok whatever, but you don’t get the cover for the duvet, it’s just another sheet. Id say about 70% of the guest sleep under the same duvet (these aren’t washed obvs). People either don’t care to use the sheets provided to “separate” themselves from the duvet or put them as a privacy curtain. Ah one more thing, leaving the key every time you go (even the locker key… - I ended up taking all my documents and money with me, not too sure what’s more ridiculous). Sorry for this rant but I’d hope someone will read that and maybe impose some changes? This said I’d stay in the hostel again, the bed was comfy and the shower was hot, it was clean. And a good price for Come.

Really comfy sturdy bed, big room, nice staff, hot water in the shower. 16 beds in one room, but it really didn’t feel crowded at all, there was a separation in the middle so felt like 2 rooms of 8. It was full yet no one was queuing for the toilets, showers. Very nice outside space, must be lovely in summer.

It was cold and rainy outside and we had to ask for the extra blankets, which at first they didn't want to give us. After several people asking a few times, we got them. Also there are no curtains in front of the bunk beds.

You must to pay for everything, if you want to stay together with your friends it has a fee, parking cost 25$/night etc.. The room doesn't have curtain so you'll wake up with the sunrise.

You can tell is a new hostel, a lot of improvements have to be done. Starting off with the kitchen, small, not well equipped and not comfortable at all for cooking. The curtains in the room are transparent that means the room gets very bright super early in the morning. No common room where to gather and meet other than the garden and the parking fee is way too high. Also dropping and picking the keys every time you leave the hostel and come back is a bit annoying. Entering the room with a code number or with a card would be better.

Great location, nice garden and comfortable beds. Jaison the night receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The time for breakfast till 11 is cool. The price was very competitive, I hope not just because it is recently opened.

the mattresses have seen better days, but to be fair I had no problems sleeping on mine, the annoying thing was the bathroom and entry doors being very loud: you end up waking up every time someone returns from outside or goes to the bathroom during the night. also my locker had a weird smell. The room itself looked recently renovated tho. also the shower didn't make me want to die which is rare for a hostel! although in my room some of the bathrooms/showerrooms didn't have a lock which was weird

Wish it was a little closer to Como centre, but it wasn’t far, and the walk to get to Como is beautiful

good traveller atmosphere, but it wasn’t the most youthful hostel if you planned to meet a ton of new people (the people between 20-28 were very sociable though!), some families too with kids, Hot Breakfast Croissant w Nutella/Jam and Coffee hits the spot

The door to the outside did not lock at night and there was no toilet paper in 3 of the restrooms.
