The apartment is very nicely decorated in a marine style and instantly makes you feel you are on holiday with the pleasant sea breeze blowing in your face. Moreover the room is really specious with a huge bathroom and sheared kitchen equipped with coffee machine and options for the breakfast. The location of the apartment is very convenient for exploring the city. To sum up we highly recommend the place while staying in Genoa.

It’s well located if you want to stay close to the train station but the surrounding areas didn’t feel the safest to walk around.

We had a fabulous stay at Port View! The room was amazing, very elegant and had a great view on the port- exactly as the photos! Our host Francesca was very kind and helpful! We fully recommend staying at Port View!

the property was clean and francesca, the owner was so friendly. she helped us with everything, showed us the garage where we can leave the car. I wrote her on whatsapp and she answered immediately! never experienced such a good host- will definitely come back again

Our room was really pretty and the bed so comfy. Despite having the window towards the busy streets our room was super quiet. I also loved that we had the option to have a little breakfast and coffee in the morning. The shower was lovely and spacious with great water pressure. Having an elevator in a typical genovese building is luxury if you travel with lots of baggage.

Excellent accomodation, just in front of Galata Museum, with an amazing view over the port and the city, 5-10 min walk to the main attractions (Old port, Old city, restaurants, train station). Very cozy and agreable inside. Just perfect.

The stay was exceptional with warm welcome and super clean room. Host Franccesca came and took us from railway station at almost midnight for our safety. Guest house location is just in front of porto antico and aquarium. There you can find everything for your comfortable stay, e.g. small kitchen for breakfast. Would reccomend it to everyone! :)

the immediate area around the building is not great but we were never really uncomfortable. probably a good idea to stay away from the small alleyways at night.

Nothing - everything was perfect.

Clear entry instructions and very warm welcome. Good information on places to visit and restaurant recommendations provided. Room was extremely comfortable and spacious and spotlessly clean and tidy. The communal dining/kitchen area had a plentiful supply of hot/cold drinks and breakfast items. Great views of the port and, although the building is adjacent to a very busy road, noise was not an issue as there is very good double-glazing and air-conditioning. Great location as close to transport links, city centre, port and restaurants. Good wi-fi connection.

We loved it all

We are so pleased we booked to stay at Port View, Genoa, because it’s the best place we have stayed in since we left home 4 weeks ago. We rate it so highly because the listing was accurate, details provided were correct, and the level of excellent communication was just what we needed from a property. We were comfortable, safe and had such a good nights sleep . The DYI breakfast was relaxing also - no scheduled time , just when we were ready .

There was nothing I did not like only the fact that America tourist seem to complain about everything in Italy. if that is the case don’t bother travelling to this beautiful country and respect their culture it’s not pleasant to be rude .
