The beds are firm and comfortable and there is a fantastic rain shower in the room. The rooms are big enough for Japanese standard. The staff at the reception were nice and helped us to fill in the luggage delivery service paperwork. The location was great for us, good link to all the areas in Kyoto. There are 3 washing machines in the hotel which we made use of.

The beds were very uncomfortable and the blankets were almost too small. Additionally the usage of space in the room made it awkward to get in and out bed and made the room feel more cramped.

The location was nice because it offered quick means to getting to places we wanted to go such as Fushimi Inari. Also the bathroom was fantastic.

The room was rather small, of which is somewhat expected with Japanese hotel rooms but the limited amount of space and table & chairs in the way meant there was no where to put/open suitcases. Luckily you could at least store them under the beds. Washer/dryer facilities were a nice extra, but you did have to pay 600-800¥, which we were happy to do, however the machine does not dry your clothes well at all, even after putting them through a second drying cycle. This made hanging them up to dry in the room tricky! We did not opt for the breakfast at additional cost as it was limited in variety and quality.

Clean and modern. Beds were comfortable, however small. Bathroom was clean with a big shower, and strong water pressure. Aircon worked well, kept the room cool. Staff were friendly and helpful.

laundery service sucks. it ruined some of my thirts and i put in dryer for 3 times and it didint work it was all wet. i told stuff and they tried dryer 2 times more and it didint work again machines and so bad

I think there's a problem with the AC, it makes the entire room very dusty every day. My suitcase was covered in dust after a night.

The room was smaller than anticipated, with little space to move around but manageable. The cleanliness was okay-ish, the room was a bit dusty (under the bed where you store your luggage a bit too dusty). Also, the window faced the fake balcony, so no view. We received a room facing the street and it was quite noisy. If not for the common bathroom and the washer and dryer, I would have given a 7.

We stayed at this hotel for a few nights. The staff was really nice, we could send the luggage beforehand for them to receive and also leave the luggage after the check-out time for a few hours. The room was ok, with a big bed, a table with two chairs, a TV, a fridge, bathroom with a shower. We enjoyed the common bath (separated by gender), and the washer and dryer (paid). There was also a drinks vending machine and water cooler. We didn't have breakfast there.

Despite the larger rooms, the layout (where the beds are placed and how to store our luggage) is still a bit inconvenient. The views are amazing, but we missed having proper curtains to block the sunlight early in the morning, as the current ones aren’t sufficient. Last year, there was a much wider variety of beverages during happy hour, where you could enjoy drinks with friends in the dining room. We understand that some guests may have misused this service, leading to changes, but it was disappointing to have only a few drinks available. The option to pay 1000¥ for alcohol was too much, so this time it wasn’t worth it.

I stayed at this hotel last year and wanted to return during my latest trip to Kyoto. Since the standard rooms were too small, I booked the larger ones, which were indeed more spacious. From these rooms, there are great views of the east side of Kyoto. The sento was amazing, and despite all the tourists in the city and the hotel, we didn't encounter too many guests using it when we did, making it much more enjoyable for us.

The room is small, as anywhere in Japan, but the layout here is particularly awful. We travelled with two large suitcases and two backpacks, and we couldn't keep even one open at any time, we constantly had to store them away under the bed, which was annoying. The breakfast was just awful, forget the picture they have on here. We usually prefer hotels with pastries on the breakfast menu, but these were just small, dry, and flavorless. They also had very little options for a buffet-style breakfast.

The hotel seems brand new, I really liked the style of the furniture. The reception desk was extremely helpful and were even able to send our luggages to our next destination. I loved the public bath, used it every day. It was quiet and soothing. The location of the hotel is great for public transit, with a bus stop right in front of it, but also for quick runs to the 7-eleven right besides it. We also enjoyed the complimentary soft drinks in the evening.

We stayed 5 nights in total. The breakfast was good but was exactly the same every morning. After a few days, we had enough. In the bedroom, there are no place to put our clothes.

A bit noisy as it is close to main street.

Great hotel close to Kyoto center, clean. Loved the onsen, used it everyday instead of room showers. Will stay again!
