How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The room was unexpectedly small.
The location of the hotel is ok, about 25 minutes from the centre. The room was clean and well-furnished. The additional supplements are also provided by the hotel. The TV has various numbers of channels and new ones films. The onsen was good!

Its right next to Osaka castle. you can take morning walks around castle which is beautiful. Bit away from Dotonbori. 15-20mins. But hotel is modern with good spa.Streets and community feels like modern as well. 2mins from Metro station.

Nice, clean rooms. The staff were very nice. The location is very close to the Osaka castle which was very convenient!

The air con in my room smells a bit like stinky socks. Luckily I brought my essential oil diffuser.
This isn’t a big APA which is what I prefer, because it means less crowded, less lift waiting time, less crowded onzen, easier to get laundry done. Also more quiet.

Rooms are very, very small (too small). Difficult to unpack the bag (no wardrobe) due to room size.

There isn't too much to do directly around the hotel but you are very close to Osaka Castle and a metro station!
The bed was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We lost an earbud after checkout, and they had already found it and set it aside for us to pick up before we came back!

Washing machines don’t wash clothes. They all came out just as dirty as they went in. Even out in own powder and that didn’t help. Clothes dryer dont dry clothes enough. Had to hang clothes in bedroom.
Modern feel and look. Close to station.

My room had no window. Not ideal when trying to deal with jet lag. It was stated when booking though, so not the hotels fault.
Good location for subway. Near Osaka Castle. Spotlessly clean like all hotels in Japan.

We had nothing to complain about, except that the room was a bit short on space. Otherwise, a reliable and pleasant stay!
A true all-time classic – this hotel chain delivers consistent comfort across all its locations. The rooms are similar everywhere: clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. The location was excellent, making it a convenient base for exploring the area.

The reception staff were very welcoming even though we arrived after midnight due to a delayed flight. The hotel is close to the castle area.

Our window was to the street and some nights it got rather noisy. Except of that, we had no issues with any noises coming from the neighbouring rooms or the hallway, Most of the mornings we had to line up for the breakfast which was something very unusual for us.
Despite hotel room being small, it had many smart storage solutions such as lifted bed with space under to store your luggages. Many hangers & hooks in the bathroom & similar. Breakfast was supplied with many Japanese dishes. Super efficient check out

Check in took forever. We arrived one hour earlier than the check in time and even the rooms were ready they sent us away to come back at 3. At 3 the check in line was long and with staff there they made us check in through a self check in kinda Computer what was extremely slow.
Very small even for 2 person. The bathroom is extremely small, you can’t properly sit on the toilet without hitting the wall. We had 2 carry on suitcases and if you take one out from under the bed to get clothes you can access the bathroom or you have to step over the suitcase. It was clean but super tight for 2 person.
