Excellent hotel in superb location for either the night life or the food. Easy access to train stations if you want to go elsewhere in Tokyo. Only let down is that the laundry facilities do tend to get very 6 best doing your laundry in the wee hours of the morning. Otherwise I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend the hotel and would use it again if staying in Shinjuku.

It can be a bit loud since it is in Kabukicho, where everything is open until late. I was alone in my room, so it was okay, but I believe the same rooms are given to couples, and it would be quite a tight fit in this case.

The hotel is really close to several subway stations, making it easy to reach any point in Tokyo. The self check-in/out procedure is straightforward. There are plenty of facilities on site, such as microwave and laundry machines. The staff was, of course, really nice.

The check in was a little impersonal. As a first time traveler to this location, I felt the reception (greeting) could have been a little more personal to enhance our experience. We had just gotten off of the plane and our first hotel in Japan.

Clean & cosy room. Location is perfect to see the whole area (which has some great food & sights). Close to public transport such as trains & busses.

It was our fault but we went to the wrong APA hotel initially as there are 3 within close proximity.

Good location a little on the edge of the bustling Shinjuku area. Comfortable bed and well equipped bathroom. We arrived at 6pm and had no wait to checkin, and there is self-serve checkout which was easy. Close to several train stations. Fresh towels and robes delivered daily.

very warm, small room but after a while you get used to it. hard Japanese pillows, just couldn’t get used to it. self check in not for everyone. room does not get serviced, just fresh towels every day.

Location was perfect. No noise from area. Walking to trains very simple and 800m. Able to access all metro and jr line. food and entertainment great. Would recommend this hotel to all ages especially over 40s wanting to stay around night life but walking distance to everything. Safe area. Room with view was great. Room small but expected for Japan.

Hotel rooms are very small

The location is the reason to stay here. Very central and close to the train station. Rooms and beds are basic but are great for a short stay. The breakfast buffet is extra but was probably the best breakfast I had on the whole trip!

The room and bathroom were small, only 1 microwave for the entire building on floor 2 if you had anything to heat up.

The location was great 5 minutes from underground and 15 minutes from the main train station. The room had a fridge, freezer and kettle.

Bed wasn't very comfortable, very small for two people. The room was too warm most of the time and the air very drying.

Very close and easy access to Shinjuku station. Hotel was quiet inside. Many convenience stores around. Staff were nice on check-in.

Clean room, good onsen which was generally quiet and great to relax at the end of the day. The staff were helpful with forwarding luggage.

I’m unsure if it was just my shower/bath or if they are all like this but the water didn’t drain very well so I was standing in a pool of water during every shower. The bath drain needs clearing better. Also the heating system didn’t work and just blasted out cold air.

Great location, calm and peaceful, easy walk to Higashi-Shinjuku metro, with convenience stores and restaurants located around the hotel. The staff were so helpful especially during checking in. The room was the perfect size for one but perhaps would be cosy for two, but apart from this it was a nice and comfortable place to stay and I was so impressed by how often they provide you with new pyjamas, towels, and toiletries every day. On the TV it tells you what days they will be cleaning and gives other useful information about the hotel. I would definitely stay here again and use APA again!
