How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Room is kinda outdated
The location is pretty good. It’s near Asakusabashi station and many restaurants nearby

Our room was very hot, and even the air conditioner could not cool it down. The tv stopped working on our last day. Very minor issues.
Room was very small, but pretty standard for Tokyo. It was clean. The bed was comfortable. They supplied amazing amenities such as water, shaving razors, toothbrushes, hair brushes, hair ties, etc. The location was amazing. Such a quiet, cool neighbourhood with small restaurants and bars. Close to both the subway and train stations.

My room did not have a clothing iron only a pant presser. I think iron is a must at any business hotel.
Clean rooms with enough space. Pretty close to the train station. And there are a good number of restaurants nearby. Friendly staff.

The mini fridge kept making random noises throughout the night, scaring me awake at times.
Very nice, helpful staff and very close to the train station. Super easy to take the train to Akihabara, or even to just walk. Room is perfect for 1 person and very clean.

The smell of the room isn't great. And the freshener they provided cannot help to mask the smell.
Location is very good. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Able to help you keep your luggage even though you have checked out

Pillow were kinda bad, but everything else was good.
Location was great, amneties too, staff very friendly and have very good english. Thankfully. Room is well maintained, building gives a recent vibe. Doors are locked with a card, you can always ask counter for a new one if you lock yourself out so keep that in mind. Cleaning is available every day but has to be made every 3rd night. Lots of restaurants around, nice veg coffee just the street behind the hotel. Asakusa main district is very close by both walking and train distance. 24/7 coin laundry

They don't provide the complementary water every day. Only they provide first day. The restaurant is closed very early (5pm).
Variety of breakfast was not available. If anybody comes little late (within the restaurant timing), most of the things as per menu is not available. Breakfast is also quite costly

The superior room we had was not really more spacious in comparison to a normal room. What I mean is that in fact it was a small bedroom with a pretty long corridor, so on paper it was large, not in its spaciousness. The bed pillows were pretty hard.
I like the location the most. I also think the hotel has good price per night for what it offers. It was very quiet, the staff was very positive, helpful and polite.

Not quite as many amenities as other APA hotels in the area. A little bit longer of a walk to Akihabara than expected.
Conveniently located near subways and a short distance from Akihabara. Really quiet area of Tokyo with great local food nearby. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

The room could be a bit cleaner. The carpet tiles were lifting a little bit.
The location was great, lots of interesting shops and eateries near by. It was super close to two stations as well.
