How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Nice hotel. Convenient location to the train. Only two stops from the airport, which is only five minutes away. Nice room was spacious compared to other rooms for the same price. I paid ¥4000 to check out four hours later than normal which was a nice option. Friendly, helpful, professional staff. I would return again. I recommend this hotel

The price but hey....it's Tokyo. I wasn't there long enough to form any "expert" opinions.
I just needed a place to sleep after a long flight and a another flight from Haneda airport the next morning. This hotel was very very close to the airport and was very clean. The rooms are tiny but have a lot of amenities.

The rooms were really small, my luggage could not fit in it, and the smell of toilet was bad.
It is pretty near the Haneda airport, so the location is convenient. Also, the room is good, pretty clear, has a lot of facilities for guests and comfortable to stay for a few days.

Breakfast option was pricey (1500 yen) but not a problem as there were several convenience stores very close. Hotel also had a microwave to heat things up.
Affordable, clean hotel close to Haneda airport. Hotel was a short walk from the train station and the train took you to the airport in 5-7 minutes. Size of bed was good and there were 2 different pillows to choose from.

The location is excellent if you have an early morning flight at Haneda. If you time it right, you can be at the terminal in 5 minutes using the train. I slept well and enjoyed the breakfast. No complaints.

The relatively early 10am check out time that seems to be strictly enforced with penalty fees, but that's ultimately not a big problem.
Great facilities, good location walking distance from the airport (35 minutes). Clean and comfortable!

One of the staff in the lobby spoke very limited english but was smart enough to use a translation app; worth noting that he was kind and deligent.
Very clean and well located at just 2 train stations away from Haneda airport with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby.

Loved that it had washer and dryer in the hotel and that detergent was provided for free. There is a laundromat across the street.

Hotel was very clean but there was a strong smell of body odor in hallways and room. Everything else was good.
Our flight got cancelled and this was a last minute booking. Close to HND airport and good value. Friends staff. Walkable area.

The room and especially bathroom were extremely small. I guess it's normal in Japan, but we didn't expect it for a hotel and for that price.
It was perfectly located near the airport for a late flight in, when public transport is about to stop. We even got a free breakfast included, which was a small but decent selection and the perfect first meal in Japan.

Check-out at 9 a.m. is really early though it worked out ok for us. The room is small but typical in Japan.
The best thing for me was it is just 2 stops from Haneda Airport. It is a very short walk from the station to the hotel. Perfect for my 1-night stay after arriving late at night and to get from the airport to other parts of Japan. The room we got had a good view of the airport and could see planes landing. The room is clean. The bed is comfortable. No complaints.
