How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The rooms were a bit on the smaller side, but also somewhat expected. If you plan on staying here, I would recommend trying to bring smaller and fewer bags and suitcases otherwise you might be a bit cramped.
Extremely convenient location, just a short walk away from two different train lines that can take you to other parts of the city. Bathroom was a nice size and friendly for people who might struggle with movement around the bathroom; tub had textured flooring and was deep enough for a bath but not too tall that it was problematic to step over. View from the rooms was nice and the amenities were readily available. Would stay here again any time, highly recommend.

The location. The hotel was easy to find and only a short walk to the train station. There are many places to eat nearby. Close to 711 and Lawsons. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

It is tiny. We have this LG thingy that took up valuable space.
Location is excellent. The checkin process with the robot is super easy and fast. I also appreciate the luggage storage system in the hotel. It is very helpful for us before we check in and after we check out.

I don't see the point of the mannequins... It's not that the hotel is ran by robots. No. There are real people watching from a closed room and they eventually show up if they think you need help. It's a bit creepy. They advertise having robot concierges available (seen in James May in Japan) but it doesn't exist...
The hotel is of easy access. The breakfast is a blend between Indian and Japanese and it is very good. The streets nearby feel very authentic with a lot of Japanese bars and restaurants not aimed at tourists.

The smell of the bathroom, even though it was cleaned everyday, it had a weired smell that didnt feel very clean The dryer.. spent not only 2 hours alone drying my clothes and so much money for clothes to still be damp!
Great location. Staff were always around if needed and very quick to respond. Great value for money and perfect for our family of 4 (2 kids).. Would stay again!

Room was small but we were prepared for this … some shelving on some of the walls at end of bed would be a handy use for storing more stuff. I would recommend putting English instructions on wall for air conditioning…. We couldn’t figure it out .. and google translate wasn’t that helpful.
Laundry facilities were handy. The robots were amusing and efficient.

Laundry takes time to dry
It’s closer to the train station, you can find lawson and 7/11 outside the property. You can store your luggage before and after check in/ checkout time. Love the bathroom its all functional and looks new.

Robot check in
The room was very small, although a double, dont know how 2 people can manage. Anemities in room and Lobby. Staff helpful and friendly. Felt safe and welcome. Close to JR and subway. Nice walk from hotel to Sky Tower along the river, 30 minutes.

The clothes dryer wasn’t too great, even after 2 cycles my clothes were still damp
Close to main areas and very close to train station, lovely places to eat all nearby, everyone was very friendly, especially the housekeeping, who always greeted us, and the robots were fun to see!

The hotel has become somewhat more expensive compared to others in the area. Given the current value for money, it’s no longer my top choice.
I appreciated the LG Styler and the convenient location, just a short walk from both the metro and train stations. Additionally, the option to store luggage in the lobby or near the reception was quite handy
