Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Czech RepublicThe check in experience felt quite awkward as there was no staff, only the robots, only later on did one of the staff members run out. The mattress was was probably harder than a wooden board so would not recommend to those with sensitive sleep.
Very close to the subway station, convenient location. The room had a clothes steamer (the wardrobe type) which was nice. Locker for suitcases was provided, Indian restaurant on the ground floor.

ThailandThe main area was not so clean, the floor mat in the room still remained some hair. The bed was hard, like a normal japanese futon.
Location is excellent for people who would want to go to Haneda airport later. The room and facilities were nice and comfortable.

PhilippinesI was surprised at how poor the upkeep and maintenance was. From being super satisfied for the first few stays to disappointment. Several lights were blinking in the rooms we booked. A sink’s drainage was slow to drain. only two packs of tea. No water bottles like before.

LuxembourgThe bed is way too hard/thin and directly on wooden planks. The indian restaurant on the first floor might not be for everyone but we didn't try it (we chose to rather eat outside) so I can't tell much more.
The hotel is very well located and really close to the subway stations. The fact there is a laundry room was a nice plus. We had small trouble for the check in but someone from staff came quickly to assist us (when it's asking for your name you should write it fully as it appears on your booking reservation). The robots at the desk didn't really interact and seem more like animatronics rather than actual robots unfortunately. The glass panel with all the small robots was funny and and bit more interactive.

GermanyService: the staff didn't speak English she used Google translator to communicate with us. However, as we needed assistance, she tried to help despite not speaking English. Breakfast didn't offer a large option of food, but it was ok. As we booked, we know that we just need somewhere to sleep. For the price we paid, we couldn't expect more. Price and service matched.
Location: near to the station Asakusabashi, which makes easier to get a train, just 3 stops from Tokyo station.

CanadaThe room is quite small, reminds me of an APA hotel chain, but the biggest issue for us was probably the bed being hard and stiff. There was no english option for the Netflix which would have been nice. I also had to bend down to find something on the floor and noticed the carpets weren't as clean. When we left our luggage in storage the second day, the combination didn't work for one of them so we had to ask staff to assist us in obtaining our luggage.
First off we love the concept of the hotel. Upon early arrival there were storage lockers available even before getting to reception which was a big bonus! Check-in was quick, smooth and hassle free. The robots were very efficient at doing their jobs! We saw toiletries available at the reception and vending machines for convenience. The location was great as it is beside a train station.

IrelandI would prefer real people rather than robots at check in. The bed was very hard, it was more like a thick cushion rather than a mattress

SerbiaOur group had a wonderful time during our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The facilities were clean and comfy, and there were plenty of activities to keep us entertained. The only suggestion for improvement is that sometimes the staff took a bit long to respond to our requests. However, this didn't spoil our experience at all. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend this place to others. We'd rate it 9 out of 10.

MalaysiaBigger rooms is always better but for the price and it is Japan so can't expect bigger rooms.
Great location for my needs. a few minutes from Asakusabashi Station that has the Asakusa and Chuo Sobu JR lines. This station goes directly to Narita Airport so that was convenient. It's close to 2 supermarkets, a lawson and plenty of food options. There were robots on check-in which were interesting but it's basically self check-in hotel. Rooms were compact but that seems to be the trend for Japanese hotel rooms.

IsraelAs said many times here, the robots don't do anything but greet you. The check in procedure was really difficult and we failed multiple times until we had to call the staff. You can't check in with your residence card, need to bring a passport (it's the first time that it happened to me in Japan). The bed is terribly hard, almost like sleeping on the floor. The hotel is located in a poor unwelcoming area of Tokyo. The bathroom curtain was yellow and stank.
There was a partial view on Tokyo sky tree from our room.
