It's not that I didn't like it, but I would not recommend the dinner option rather I'd would try the local restaurants, but defiantly get their breakfast...

The staff was attentive and welcoming, the onsite breakfast was superb and the dining in the sister building was good. The room was comfortable and the private onsen was so relaxing. I would highly recommend this onsen a short walk from all the beautiful attractions and shopping.

A little inconvenient in having to walk to the sister hotel for dinner (although it's less than 5 mins walk.....)

Room is nice and clean. Pleasant environment. Staff are polite, helpful and friendly. Good location - less than 10 minutes walk to the Yubatake.

Onsen is small and can fit only 6-8 people to not lose comfort. There is a second (bigger) onsen in the sister building, but you need to go outside for it. Dinner is available only in the sister building.

The laundry was a bit hectic. Unfortunately, there was no laundry service, but they have one washing machine for self-service, and it's always and always occupied. I finally did laundry at the day of the checkout. I was a bit panicking because I had nothing else to wear.

I took the room with the 2 private open air baths, but both baths are not the same, one is a hot bath, and the other is an onsen, which is really not a bad idea. One bath can definitely fit 2 people in it, but beware that the water will overflow and might take a bit of time to be refilled. Gotta say this was the best stay I have ever had in Japan for the past 3 trips. Will I ever come to this specific onsen again? I would say it depends on my budget cause this was not cheap, but I just wanted to have fun and relax the best as I could, and it was worth the money.

The rooms are extremely small, there is no space to put your suitcase, the bathroom is so small "you can't swing a cat", luckily with the onsen we didn't have to use it. Breakfast has a very limited selection, you have to select type of eggs, sides the day before.

The only positive I can say about AeruyadoTakamatsu, is the onsen. Due to this altough we had booked four nights, we left after staying three. Staff are very helpful, but have poor english thus hard to communicate with. They provide pastries and tea/coffee in the afternoon, which is nice after the onsen.

Staff was really kind and literally across the hotel in 1min walk you can find one of tthe largest onsen in town which is also my favourite one! Breakfast at this hotel is a must! Yukata and the jacket that was provided was really nice, soft and warm. Everything was very clean!

This hotel is a big joke. The room was supposed to be soundproof but then you won't sleep because a train runs from 2am every 10 minutes. The noise is so loud it's like you're standing at a station. The bathroom is so small you can't use the toilet because your foot touches the wall. But the hit is to order a massage. The masseur can only come to your room but without his bed, he will massage you on a hotel bed!!! which reaches halfway down your calf!!! shock and disbelief

The service is really bad, English communication is not fluent. We bought souvenirs at the hotel souvenirs shop after we checked out, then try to borrow the restroom in the lobby, but they rejected, the reason is they cannot lend restroom to customer who has checked out. This is ridiculous... The curtains are very poor and cannot block the light. Except for beef Sukiyaki, other dishes in dinner are not so delicious.. (Nigiri not fresh, Fish hot pot over cooked etc...)

Private hot spring room is good. One of dishes(beef Sukiyaki) in dinner is wonderful.
