It might have been a little bit bigger room for 3 people but it is me being clingy. I was Very satisfied with our stay here.

It’s a pity that reception basically does not work. Also, there is no common area to sit, no machines to buy anything if needed.

The beds are very hard. I had two singles so doubled up the duvets to have one under me and one on top, but it was pretty uncomfortable as beds go. Only place I’ve stayed in 7 weeks where there was no water machine or bottled water, nor tea or coffee. The room has all the ambience of a converted office complete with enormous fluorescent light over the bed and no bedside light.

Big room with good facilities including a microwave. The location was excellent - you can go east to west on the JR line and north to south on the metro - and anywhere on the bus all within 2 mins walk from the hotel. Shout out to housekeeping who do a fab job, discreet and professional. There’s a Co-op supermarket nearby with an excellent fresh food selection.

Couldn't find out how to turn off the sensor light in the entranceway to the room. Not enough pillows.

The code entry was really useful so that we could check-in at any time. Being so close to Nijo Station made getting around Kyoto quickly much easier.

Located well for Nijo station, can walk to Nijo Castle and the imperial palace. Room had a fridge, kettle & microwave. Very close to a Lawson & 7/11. Laundry facilities and place to lock up and leave luggage. Amazing cake shop next door.

Bed was extremely firm and it hurt my shoulder and neck. Overpriced for the level of accommodation.

The pillows are poor and there were no spares to augment them. Also while it is close to Nijo station it is a bit isolated from most tourist spots except fo nijo castle.

This hotel is in a great position - 3 mins from Nijo Train Station and close to a range of restaurants. It is very well run - the staff I encountered when checking in and usung the laundromat were friendly and very helpful. Best of all you can open the window so not always enclosed in artificial air. Highly recommended from a solo traveller.

They could have offered coffee since they were offering tea. I used the laundry service and after using the dryer (didn't fill it up) everything was very wet so I spreaded all over the extra bed I had, to dry for a day. The bed was rather on the hard side but you might like that. Pillows were comfy. Other than that everything was great!

good location 2 min walking from Train station. The people in reception were really kind and helpful! they make the difference! it was very clean and it was nice to have a fridge and microwave in the room. I liked having a balcony. I felt very comfy here!
