Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

The place was a good size for a family of 4. It is very clean, beds were comfortable, and amenities were provided for free if you asked for it like an iron with iron board. The location is safe even if it is centrally located, it is just about 17 minutes walk to Sky Tree Tower. The staff are very nice and accommodating. Most of them speaks English.

AustraliaLike most places in Japan, the beds and pillows are very hard.
Great room for larger families (4-6), location is not the best but a bus stop 30 seconds away and train stop 5 minutes away means getting around Tokyo is very easy. Great value for money at this Mimaru.

AustraliaWe had a great stay at MIMARU Tokyo Kinshicho. The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful, making check-in and any questions a breeze. The room was very comfortable — the bed was a little firm for my taste, but still fine. Loved that the apartment was fully stocked with everything we’d need to cook, though we didn’t use the kitchen this time. Not much of a view, but the beautiful shade and excellent blackout curtains made up for it. Very clean, quiet, and a nice home base in Tokyo.

United StatesThere are laundry machines on the ground floor which is nice when you are staying awhile. The dryer seems like it was designed for very small loads so it can take a while to dry everything if you have a lot of laundry. Luckily, it was not an issue overall.
The staff was very friendly and helped us every step of the way to make sure we were comfortable and had new towels everyday and the trash was taken out. The location has at least 3 convenience stores nearby and some were open 24 hours. Very close to the station made it easy to get to other parts of the city fairly easily.

ThailandThe area does have quite a few bars and nightclubs, which might feel a bit awkward when walking with kids at night, but it didn’t affect our stay. The sliding doors between bedrooms don’t offer full privacy, but they’re functional.
We had a great stay at MIMARU Tokyo Kinshicho. While it’s a bit outside central areas like Shibuya or Ginza, the quieter, local vibe was a nice change from busy tourist spots. It’s still convenient, with the train station, supermarkets, and department stores close by. Our room was clean, modern, and well-equipped, with a large fridge and cooking station — ideal for families. The bed was comfy, and the separate toilet and bath setup was very convenient. Staff were friendly and spoke English well, making everything easy. A solid choice if you want space, comfort, and a more local Tokyo feel.

Near grocery, mall, bus station and train station and a lot of restaurants and cafes. There is a bus stop to hanaeda airport beside Parco mall which i think is very useful to tourists coming from hanaeda. (We saw signage but wasnt able to use it) . Bus to Disney resort is also beside Parco mall. Seiyu grocery also convenient and a drug ni store too. Staffs are nice too and very helpful, knows how to speak English and google translate 🤣 We even recognized so.e staff members from other 2 mimaru hotels we stayed in the past 2 years Hatchobori and in Shinsaibashi. Kitchen was verybuseful. Kids get to cook food. Mimaru Hatchobori i think has a better location.

United Statesnothing! was perfect.
The staff at the front desk spoke English and it was very much appreciated. (It would have been fine if only Japanese was spoken, but it was a nice surprise, given this was our last hotel of our 10 day trip in Tokyo). The check in process was very smooth and their instruction manuals in the room and at the front desk were very clear. The facilities were very clean, the room was very clean. My kids loved having their own room in the Japanese apartment. I liked that they had air filters in the apartment, one per room. I loved the proximity of this apartment to the train station and to pretty much everything. It was a great location. The hotel used a specific luggage forwarding service, which was somewhat pricey, but the service delivered our many luggages to Haneda airport with ease. It was so close to our check in counter at the airport. We only delivered our very large luggage to the airport and took the smaller ones with us. The hotel kept our smaller luggages while we explored Ginza for a couple hours. The beds were comfortable and I don't know what it is about Japanese bed sheets but they are so comfortable. Heavy-ish so you're warm, but cool feeling so it doesn't overheat you. Amazing. We were there on Easter and were missing our normal Easter activities, but they had somewhat of an Easter egg hunt in the lobby and gave my kids prizes for it. It was a very nice touch. Everything was so amazing. Thank you!
