It was not full Ryokan with sliding doors to to a court yard. No views from our windows other then other buildings but to get that location that is what you have to give up

It had a good location for us to walk to our attractions and find food. It was really close to the luggage transportation depot. Staff was wonderful and would recommend.. We stayed in the two bedroom with both bedroom upstairs. We had plenty of room for a family of 4 with extra room.

The beds were a bit thin, and the bathrooms were not very soundproof.

One room was a little hot. But not too bad.

The look and atmosphere was immaculate. Our courtyard room was so cute. The AC was very cool. The location was convenient. Everyone had a great experience.

Additional cost and notice of time for bath, breakfast, and use of the common room. Bathroom was very tiny. One adult seemed too big for it.

The ryokan really gives you the feel of traditional Japanese inn from the layout of the building and rooms. The staff was amazing, location was very close to Kyoto station, and the facilities were nice

Location is a bit too far from main sights, some guests were disrespectful and very noisy ( due to building construction you hear all loud talks and noises)

Nagomi is not for you, if you need a real quiet room. The house is old. You hear every noise. Staff provides ear protection, If you wish, which is good. Be aware: Facilities Like shower, water boiler or bed are simple, but okay.

Nagomi is a good place to stay. Central Location, all Bus lines and Train Station are easy to reach. Even some seightseeing spots like Nijo Castle. Shopping and food areas not too far, and still in a quiet neighborhood. I had a traditionell room with a nice Touch and my own bathroom, which is quiet special for a Ryokan. Staff was available, If needed.

The room assigned to us is the WORST ROOM in the ryokan. 1. It is just beside the alley where tourists would drag their luggage on their way to their lodging 2. The room is poorly insulated and with temperature on high single or low double digit’s it’s pretty cold 3. The room is NOT CLEANED DAILY, only on the 4th day of your stay 4. The room is near the washing machine that crank out a loud noise every time it’s being used 5. The sewage pipes from the toilet upstairs make a lot of noise when it’s being used

Nothing to like about this property especially the room we were provided.

The staff were nice. The place is nice, but I didn't know that there would be heating only via air conditioning so we always came back to a cold room after a long day out. It was really clean, and futon was comfortable. The building is old and traditional so You have to watch out to not make any noise, but we didn't have a problem with the neighbours. The location is rather far from main turist attractions, but there is a metro station 8min away and the main station 20min away.

This kind of accommodation supposed to be a "old style Japanese experience" but everything was fully automated like all other accommodation in Japan. A ryokan should show more human interaction including breakfast or a tea/coffee place but we did not see anybody anywhere in the empty space.

Nothing really negative. If you book the traditional rooms you will find the check-in area in a nearby building (40 seconds away, just round the corner): is this a negative feature? Not really…

This was our second time in Kyoto and we didn’t think twice before booking this Ryokan: the traditional room of the upper floor is very warm and cosy, with a complete kitchenette at our disposal. Everything is always pristine clean and the staff available for any need

Room faced a poking to for buses and staff.

The room and bathroom were fine. I wish I hd chosen a room facing the sea rather than the parking lot. It might have been a little bit more but waking to the bay would have been a perk. The dinning experience was exceptionable. The staff of the dinning room were attentive, and helpful. The food was a delight. I took advantage of there onset, it was clean and the water was perfect.
