Would be nice to have easier access to a fridge. The staff did accommodate us by allowing us to put something in their fridge. But might be nice to have a communal fridge or small ones in room/each level

The hostel location was excellent. The bathrooms on the women-only floor were very clean and pleasant. There were plenty of showers for everyone. The room wear was useful and the room itself was comfortable though small for two people's luggage.

Maybe a kitchen was missing. There was a microwave and hot water supply. But it would be better to supply tap water.

The location is perfect for the resorts and shopping center. The staff were helpful and the facilities were clean.

This hotel was exceptional, the facilities were amazing the staff was very friendly and helpful. The amenities were very close, and Nishiki market was a 20-minute walk or an 8-minute ride on the subway, which was right outside the hotel. There was a variety of restaurants near the hotel and of course a 7 eleven across the road.

The walls are pretty thin and if there are other guests who are loud you can hear everything. We had a family on our floor for a couple of days who came home at midnight and woke us up.

Comfortable place to stay, I would say this is more of a hostel than hotel due to the shared bathrooms and small sleeping quarters but all in all, a fine place to stay.

There is a space for additional wall hanger or two. Having more of those can come useful. Just suggesting.

The hotel is right next to a metro station, which was very convenient. It's near the central train station as well, so you can either take the metro for 1 stop, or you can go for a walk. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was great for the price we payed. The bathrooms, as well as the restrooms were clean. We will be visiting again!

The laundry room is very small for the number of people staying there. Everyone wants to do laundry in the evening so there can be a long wait. Also, the "breakfast included" option wasn't really worth it. They just give you vouchers for a restaurant next door but you're very limited on what you can order with the vouchers and it's actually very easy and inexpensive to go there on your own even with no knowledge of Japanese (they have the standard vending machine ordering system with english option), and then you have more flexibility in your breakfast choices.

Facilities were very clean and comfortable. Access to all amenities needed. The price was right.

The property was a great place to stay . The showers were clean and you get free amenities such as pyjamas ,slippers and more . There is also a money exchange (but the rate is quite bad ) there are kitchen facilities and a washing machine

The only drawback was that the room can get stuffy and musty, bring some air fresher and the A/C is on the louder side. The walls also a bit thin... not suitable for light sleepers.

The location is great, just outside of Gojo subway station. Easy to connect with bus, Subway or simply walk. The hotel is super well organized and staff is always willing to help. Share shower facilities was beyond expectations. Super clean like a high end gym locker room and super private.

IF you want more from a Hotel than just a place to sleep, shower and get ready for your next trip, you might miss some comfort options. But for what this is - it is perfect

This was my second time staying in this Hostel. I have never been to one before until my first stay in January. It was outstanding. For the cheap price I thought I could risk it. And it was so good. The staff is very helpful and nice and everything is so clean, bright and modern. The shared bath area shower cabins with a private small room in front of the shower which esnured an even bigger level of privacy. The beds were comfy even tho they did not use traditional bed frames. Its location is great. I rarely needed to use public transport since you can reach Kawaramachi easily by foot. So I only needed to use busses/trains to get to the sight seeing spots. And since you are in the dead center of Kyoto, it is so easy to go somewhere without having to switch trains/busses. It was so amazing being able to go sightseeing in the morning, than come back in the afternoon, have a quick shower and be able to reacht he shopping/bar/restaurant disctrict on foot. Also great if you want to stay at a bar longer without worrying about trains. If you like walking, you can even reach lots of great placed for sightseein like Toji, Gion or Nijo Castle on foot by traversing the small allyways and absorbing the culture.

The rooms and bathrooms were spotlessly clean. They had everything we needed from room clothes to earplugs. The rooms are small, like most in Japan, but very comfortable. There was a washing machine and dryer, which we used to wash our clothes from the trip. The location was also good, we always walked everywhere. A really good stay!

Maybe provide a tablet for front desk communication. The subway train stations have people at the gates who use tablets and a translation app. The step up to the platform was a little too high for me, a senior citizen.

Location was great, right next door to the subway station and very close to Kyoto Station. I really liked having the overhead light switch and lamp next to the bed. I liked having the storage area under the bed platform for luggage. Most of the staff spoke some English. Staff was very courteous. Shower area was kept clean and tidy.
