Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

I cannot thank the hotel enough for allowing us to borrow their wheelchair because unfortunate for us, the wheels of my mother's wheelchair broke on the airport and with my mom's age and weak legs, she wouldn't be able to manage and enjoy our 9 days trip. Lucky for us, we chose this hotel. A very good decision. Again, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! The hotel is very close to Nagoya station, Bic Camera and a LOT of restaurants. In short, the location is PERFECT. Our rooms were Standard Double Room and Deluxe Double Room. It was big for Japanese standard and with two tables which I love. Checking in and checking out was also a breeze. Basic amenities like toothbrush with toothpaste, coffee and tea were provided beside the elevator. There's also a microwave oven on the ground floor. Washing Machine is also available. Overall, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.

SingaporeThe double room was a real squeeze for 2 people. There is not enough space for comfort. Breakfast selection was the same for all 7 days but the taste was acceptable. No water was provided throughout the stay. It was quite a distance from the main Nagoya station, about 10-15 mins walk. If you are taking the airport line, it will take an additional 10 mins walk. It might be quite arduous if you have difficulties walking or have heavy luggage. The nearest convenience shop is 5 mins away.
The room was clean with good soundproofing.

ChinaRoom is fairly small, but to be fair, most JP hotel rooms are even smaller
Very clean and functional, everything is useful, and short of nothing. I especially love the bathroom, small but super white and clean, with nice shampoo and body wash! Also very good location, we went to a barbecue nearby and had the most wonderful meat ever. Staffs are quite friendly and nice, speak English so easy to communicate.

United StatesThe hotel, itself, is just fine. Surrounding area was a bit “rougher” than most areas of Japan. Did NOT feel threatened, but noticed the area

AustraliaJust like most hotels in Japan, they don't have sheets and blankets. They have duvets (ie. quilts, doonas etc) which means its difficult to control your sleeping temperature. We were too warm. But this is a very small criticism of what what, overall, a very enjoyable stay.
Excellent location minutes walk from Nagoya Station allows you to explore the city easily. There are also plenty of places to eat nearby. Room was a good size by Japanese standards. Breakfast was excellent with the friendly staff making it a pleasure to go down for breakfast.

SingaporeRoom is too small. The twin was much bigger. We went for a day trip and was going to check back in the hotel again. It was unfortunate they only allow one luggage to be stored even though there were two of us.
Location. The hotel was also nice to allow us to keep our luggage for a day when we checked out for a day trip.

Singapore- No bottled water provided in the room. - Hairdryer wind is not strong enough. - There are 2 lifts. But it can be slow when a lot of people are using it.
+ Within 5 minutes walk (flat road) from Nagoya Station, this is excluding the time required to navigate between the different train lines stations (Shinkansen / JR / Meitetsu / Subway etc). + Convenience store is just around the corner. + Check in was smooth with front desk staff who can speak English. + Provides luggage storage service at the lobby. + Room size is decent. Able to open a 29" luggage and a 24" luggage with ample walking spaces. New and clean. + Equipped with a double bed (queen size-160cm width), 2-seater sofa, stool, coffee table, blackout curtain, 2 mugs, kettle, tissue paper, fridge, mirror on working desk with a working chair, air humidifier, TV, bathrobes, hairdryer, trash bin. + There is another mirror at the entrance. Beside the mirror, there are 4 hangers provided with limited hanging space. (No closet) + Bathroom is compact with seating toilet (with washlet function), basin, mirror, small bin and bathtub with curtain. Hair shampoo, hair conditioner, body wash and face/hand wash soap provided in the bathroom. + The rest of the essential toiletries can be obtained at the lobby: body towel, toothbrush & toothpaste, cotton swabs. Also at the lobby: a variety of teabags, drip coffee, wooden stirrer, sugar, creamer, shoe polisher, sanitary bag. + Like the bed and pillows as they are hard and good for back and neck. + New towels, face towels & floor mat will be hang at the door if the "do not disturb" sign is placed at the door. + Wifi is good. There are also lots of electrical outlets (Japanese) and at least 2 USB charging ports. Love the night lamp that can be dimmed according to personal preference.

Hong KongIf you book through their web site can enjoy a late check out (12pm) for free.
I have stayed the same brand in Osaka. Very similar rooms. For twin room, I am impressed with the bathroom, where the washlet is seperated from the bathing area. Also shower is seperated from bathtub, which is only found on hotels which are much more expensive. Given to the price and location, it is worth for money
