Walking distance to the amusement park, which was nice. Breakfast was decent also. Private Onsens was a nice addition as well.

Just be warned that there is no mirror outside of the bathroom and the voltage in the area is kind of low for the hairdryer etc. The walls are fairly thin which the staff recognise by putting up signs to ask people to be quiet for certain hours, we just happened to have people in the room above us that wanted to move furniture all night.

We had one of the rooms with the private outdoor baths and while we only stayed one night, it was wonderful. It was worth the money for the bath as it was really relaxing (even if it was 30 degrees celcius!) The staff were very friendly and the room was very clean. The location is also very close to Fuji Q Highland. There was also the option for a complimentary breakfast although we didn't avail of this.

Onsen was just what we needed after Fuji Q Highland and also exploring Kawaguchiko the previous day, rooms were very spacious with a large double bed, a place to sit next to the TV and it’s own kitchen area with fridge (and freezer!!) not able to cook on anything but great for storing cool ice creams in the hot weather. Staff very polite and check in was no hassle, a quiet secluded area surrounded by nature. Will definitely stay again! Thanks for having us!

Thin walls and unpleasant guests loud late at night... Not the hotel's fault though because they made signs to keep it quiet during the night.

Everything was really awesome! I think you get the best value for money if you book during the week (cheaper) and without private bath. Because the shared onsen can be reserved for one hour and it's made out of Fuji volcanic stones (so much better than wood barrels), it's generous in space and really enjoyable. I loved it! Staff was kind, the room was spacious, futon enjoyable and close to everything. Moreover you can rent a bike and play ping-pong. Breakfast was ok too.

sadly it wasn’t really what we expected it to be. a lot of listed things weren’t available in our room or way more uncomfortable than described. it wasn’t a good value of money because of what we paid for was way to much for what we got. they for example listed breakfast included on their site - but all we got was a 1/4 sandwich and little croissants. we weren’t full at all and left unsatisfied. we had to eat with plastic cutlery and didn’t even get any service at all. the staff didn’t speak english and the room wasn’t equipped with anything really. we didn’t even had cutlery - the cupboards were all empty. that was disappointing for what we had paid.

nice location close to the fuji. but take into consideration, that you will have to move by feet because the busses don’t really drive a lot here. otherwise you have to rent bikes by the hotel

Communication! I expected to book a 2 twin BEDroom but received a 2 futon room. I spoke with the manager/owner about expecting 2 beds and he said that he gets confusion through booking.com people all the time. I suggested changing the description or photos to clarify and it came across as he knew and didn’t want to clarify as he knew that would cost business. Whenever I asked a question through the site to the property it took several days and a follow up to receive a response but when they wanted something I received several messages in one day. When asked about directions and Fuji bus schedules we were given the information but it was wrong.

The location was not far from the bus and a few restaurants.

The outdoor private onsen/tub was amazing! The room was very nice size and had comfortable beds. The breakfast was great as could eat in dining area or take back to room(although tray would be great option for bringing to room). Short walk to Fuji-Q Highlands, store, and restaurants.

Price for room with private bath is quite high for a bath that needs a lot of work to get ready each time Also the steep stairs to the room are quite tiring and dangerous for us over 50s. The room didn't feel clean. The hot water shower was tricky either burning hot or icy cold.

I liked everything about this place !

The room was big, clean and comfortable. There was a private bathroom, plus a public bathroom you can book inside the hotel and a great onsen just 8 minutes away as well as a Don Quijote just next door and also many restaurants options around!! The place was quiet and surrounded with big trees and the hosts/staffs/ cleaners were all very welcoming and helpful without being intrusive: just the perfect type of service!!! The breakfast in the vast dining room was simple yet really nice with a delicious little hand made sandwich ! Thank you Jack, Ray, and everyone from the hotel for making my stay perfectly confortable !

Very relaxing stay that’s tucked away but also close to attractions, stores, 7/11, restaurants, etc. It was good and healthy for a free breakfast! I loved the customer service, they were extremely helpful and patient and kind. Especially when I practiced my Japanese, they were so patient and explained in English if I had any issues. The bed was very comfortable and we loved the self-fill Onsen bath and fuji water. It was also a very close walk to Fuji Q which was our reason for coming.

The location didn't feel fully safe as a solo traveler without a car. I walked to the hotel, and my luggage actually broke on the road there. I had to replace it, and the first receptionist said it would be 20 dollars to throw it away. The google address they give actually takes you to the wrong place because google maps autocorrects it. So be careful with that. It's actually better to put the hotel name in. For safety - This is mainly due to the darkness of the area and unpaved path to get there. The area itself felt somewhat secluded, and I didn't like that the door was not private. The outdoor bath never got hot enough when I tried it, which was really disappointing. It is difficult to get into the city. Aside from slower bus schedules, you have to walk quite a ways to get to the bus stop and even through Fuji Q. This can be really challenging at night, and they start to close the park, but google still routes you through. I wasn't sure if I was still allowed to enter, and it was a really isolated walk. Unfortunately I also made a mistake when I booked this and had another property scheduled. I missed free cancelation by a few hours and they wouldn't give any type or refund to cancel. So I tried to go with an open mind regardless but for the reasons above I really did not enjoy the stay.

I checked the price early the day I wanted to book and a few hours later it more than doubled in price. the room was not worth the price I paid for three people.
