Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United Stateslunch and dinner were good but not amazing and having 1 restaurant on site is not enough for over a 2 day stay. The spa services are just OK, not sure it is worth it.

United StatesI should have read the description better, but because of the open room concept of the cabins, there is no AC. It wasn't terrible without, but as I like to sleep cold, it wasn't the best night. I would do it again for a short stay, but I don't think I would do a long stay without AC.
The Rabot Hotel is an experience for sure! You feel (and probably are) in the middle of the rainforest, with the best view there is of the Petit Piton. The little cabins are very picturesque, of good size, and with a comfortable bed. The restaurant has good food and the views, again. And the infinity pool is amazing. There are many activities offered by the hotel, e.g. free morning yoga, cacao tour

United KingdomVery little to not like about it. As they advertise, it can get quite noisy at night through the insects and birds, but you get used to that pretty quickly.

United KingdomStaffing at the pool bar was a bit hit and miss at times, ie towels sometimes not available and water not immediately on hand, but it was no big deal and the infinity pool was very welcome.
We were in a Luxe Cottage, located at the top of the hill, which was tough on the calves and achiles, but we chose to take the workout and not to get a buggy ride up every time. The view of the Petit Piton from the balcony was stunning. If you want the view you have to choose the room carefully as some are blocked by the restaurant building. Room was light, airy and well appointed. Breakfasts were very good, with a plate of fresh fruit and the food choice was different (local and trad choices) , tasty and beautifully presented. The view of the Petit Piton from the dining room was stunning. The staff were almost exclusively wonderful, friendly, helpful and fun. The estate is large, you can take an easy hike through the beautiful grounds up to Project Chocolat where there is a bar and cafe on hand to refresh yourself.

United KingdomAircon is a must. The mosquito net did nothing and we were bitten alive. also the subset cruise was disappointing in as much as it said food included. It was a box of banana chips. We cancelled our eve meal as we assumed it would be the usual expected food…salad rice chicken fish etc. we went on a boat trip later in the north and was much more value for money with all the food listed and more ! Theres very little food choice at restaurant and there wasn’t much happening. But for a chill out 2 nights it was perfect.
The location was amazing. The nature walk was fabulous.

United StatesThe food wasn’t good could have had more options. The shower water didn’t get hot. Refrigerator didn’t work so the milk spoiled and we couldn’t make hot cocoa. Not close to anything.
The staff was very nice and helpful. The views of the piton mountain are beautiful!

United StatesA small issue for me. Chocolate is emphasized in every dish served at the hotel's restaurant. I love chocolate but am not a big fan of chocolate on vegetables. That is not to say that there is an inordinate amount of chocolate used in the dishes, but it is superfluous.
This is an incredibly beautiful spot. The restaurant's (where you can take all of your meals) view of Grand Picot Mountain is spectacular. We loved our room with its canopied bed. There is a nightly turn-down service. The staff is friendly, professional, and quick to respond to our requests. The pool is a great place to relax after visiting the beach. The hotel offers an extensive series of optional tours to local sites, which can be arranged at the front desk.

CanadaGuest relations was hit and miss, both before we arrived and during our stay.
We really enjoyed the food, cocktails, view and general atmosphere of the hotel. We also loved our luxe room - the balcony was wonderful to have a morning coffee or just chill out on at the end of the day. I think its worth doing one of the boat activities- we did the sunset cruise, but if i were to go back i would do the boat trip up the coast to Marigot Bay for dinner. We had a car which gave us flexibility to try other beaches and see more of the island.

United StatesOur room was opened to the outside. The porch had shatters but no windows and no separation from the sleeping area. Even though the bed had nets we got some mosquito bites. The music in the restaurant was pretty loud on the weekend. The hotel provided some earplugs.
The hotel had a nice breakfast with some ingredients from the property farm. Rooms are beautiful. Comfy beds. Good shower. Beautiful area close to Pitons and mud baths. The chocolate tour is informative and fun.

United KingdomIf you’re staying for a while the food, whilst delicious, can get a bit repetitive due to the cacao. There was no air conditioning in the room so there was no real respite anywhere from the humid temperatures.
The views from the hotel are amazing, the food was absolutely delicious and the service was fantastic. Exploring the trails is great and the hotel offers lots of excursions. We received a room upgrade which was brilliant.

United KingdomThe food wasn’t as I expected but that was down to personal taste as I preferred the local food in soufriere town. The room was also a little hot
The grounds and property are breathtaking. Beautiful settings with a gorgeous view of the piton. However it the staff that make it here. We were greeted by the lovely Cindy who went out of her way to help us do a rum and chocolate tasting. The lovely Romario hosted this for us and we had a great time! Every one of the staff were kind and welcoming.

United KingdomThe property is located on a main road, this means there is a lot of traffic noise, especially late at night when cars hoot their horns. They even provide ear plugs at the hotel! I don't mind the sound of nature (there are a lot of frog and animal sounds) but the traffic noise is very disturbing.
The staff were friendly, the breakfast was great. The tour of farm was very friendly and informative.

United Kingdomeverything was an expensive add on - eg we were quoted such higher rates on taxis than we got from local drivers, all excursions and activities are add on and really expensive. I would’ve hoped the stay might’ve included free or discounted tour at next door project chocolate. food is so expensive in comparison to many more places, including surrounding hotels. some of the staff were lovely, but it felt marred slightly by a few of those working in the pool bar and reception who seemed really unhappy to be there. the staff would try to ignore you as much as possible, and we felt really uncomfortable asking to order anything - it felt like we were really bothering them. we also arrived at 2pm and didn’t get our key till 6pm as they had lost it. we had to keep chasing every hour and it felt like no one was really on it or apologetic. we also had a substantial amount of extra food and drink charges on our bill at the end which were in error but we had to point these out and keep track. they were removed but with no apology. would expect a bit better services for such a high cost stay.
the hotel is beautiful, surrounded by nature with incredible views and sunsets. loved the nature walks and the Jurassic trail, there’s so much to learn on the guided walk. the grounds are really well maintained and just stunning. we were upgraded to a luxe lodge for a special occasion which was such a wonderful surprise and the lodges were so beautiful. some of the staff were so helpful and made it really special. I thought the food was delicious - the menu doesn’t really change but if you’re only there 2-3 days there are lots of options. cocktails are great and lovely bar staff in the restaurant! the views from the pool are incredible. there’s quite a lack of sun beds for the size of the hotel, but it was luckily not an issue. though I think that’s because we were told it was around 60% capacity so might be different story if full.
