The breakfast was unfortunately not very good. The didn’t ask about food preferences. And the coffee was quite bad.

It is directly in the jungle and you have a nice view from the treehouse. The room was also very clean. And the people are very nice. The picked me up from bus station but I had to pay for it in the end.

This hotel is truly wonderful. Staying and sleeping in the treehouse was a unique and unforgettable experience. But what made it even more special was the amazing host family. The father picked me up from anywhere and drove me wherever I needed to go, organizing great trips and anything else I could possibly need. The mother is a fantastic cook and prepared a breathtaking breakfast that I’ll never forget. I can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone!

Akkasa Tree is a charming place. The cabins are very cozy and very close to bars and restaurants. But the best part is the family who runs the accommodation. They are very welcoming and always willing to help. They can organize tours and give you advice if you want, all without any hassle.

Staying in a treehouse but feeling at home :) The hosting family was lovely and very helpful when we asked for advice. Meals are prepared with love and with fresh ingredients from the owners, including meat, rice and fruits. Planning dinners and breakfast times with the owners was very easy. You can’t go wrong here, warmly recommended.

The place was very clean, and the room had all the necessary amenities. The homemade local breakfast was delicious and a perfect start to the day. It is located in the middle of the forest, so you are constantly surrounded by the sounds of nature. It’s a peaceful and beautiful setting, but if you are sensitive to noise, it might not be the best option for you. Overall, it was a good experience.

The tree houses are very nice. If you are looking to connect with nature, this is the place! The family is super friendly and always willing to help you. The food is delicious and the prices are affordable! Thanks Shan for showing me around!

If you want a rustic stay with amazing hosts and a great location this is your place! The family are so friendly and accommodating and Shan their son was so helpful. He drive us around in the tuk tuk and even took us on a small walking trip to watch the sunset. It was so much fun to spend time with this family. As far as the food it was very good Sri Lankan meals with a free breakfast each morning. The rooms had AC and hot showers and the beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Very clean yet homely, good shower,warm water, mosquito net. Shaan has a tuktuk & offered to show me the sights for a very very reasonable charge. He dropped me at my next accommodation free as a courtesy. Breakfast & evening meal were very healthy & filling. Could not complain about anything.

Staying at Akash Treehouse felt like a dream! The wooden cabin, nestled deep in the jungle, created an unforgettable experience. The atmosphere was incredibly peaceful—you could fall asleep to the soothing sounds of nature. The staff was beyond friendly, making us feel right at home. The highlight was the unbelievable dinner prepared by the host—one of the best meals we had! Despite our early wake-up for a sunrise hike, the owner got up even earlier to make us delicious pancakes to take along. The location is perfect, close to the main attractions yet offering a calm, secluded retreat. Bonus: the super-friendly dogs made our stay even more special! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and serene jungle experience! 🌿🐾

A lot of mossies in the restaurant.

Loved the rooms perched above the garden and very kind family that runs the guest house. Food was delicious once they understood that we like real spicy Sri Lankan food.
