I loved the hotel so much that I extended my stay for an extra day. Watching the sunrise from the terrace every morning was delightful. I spent most of my time inside the hotel, relaxing without any specific plans. It was an incredibly joyful and fulfilling experience.

We really enjoyed the fantastic view over the valley including the waterfalls. The stuff is so friendly and Priyatha is an excellent cook. Don't miss the dinner there. We can definitely recommend it.

The most amazing view - absolutely stunning! The breakfast was fantastic and Priyantha and his team were so kind, helpful and provided excellent advice. The room is kitted out with fridge, water and even bottles of Coke, our balcony also had a swing seat as well as chairs. The hotel is situated up the mountain which is 5 mins tuktuk ride from Ella town, or you can walk down steep steps and along the railway tracks and get there on foot in 15 minutes. We found the location perfect for the hikes we wanted to do.

A great place to stay with an amazing view right from the bed. The host, Pirantha, is very welcoming, and the breakfast is incredibly filling, with a fresh fruit assortment, pancakes, scrambled eggs, fresh juices, coffee, and tea. The environment is quiet and relaxing. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a stunning view, excellent service, and a peaceful atmosphere.

Pirantha is a great host, he was so helpful and arranged a shared taxi to Tissa and the laundry for us. He gave us great tips for hiking and sightseeing. The own scooter rental was also very easy. Great view from the rooms.

There was construction happening in the hotel with a lot of dust bags of cement next to our room. Staff done their best and it wasn’t too disturbing just a little tricky with kids.

I had to climb up and down stairs to access the property. If you are travelling with older people would not recommend this.

They provided a very personalised service. Staff were super accommodating of every need. Enjoyed the breakfast with a view although the options were limited. Rooms were spacious and the bed was comfortable.

It’s a bit outside of Ella so you’ll need a scooter or a Tuktuk which is only about 500-1000 rupees from the center

The people make the difference in this accommodation. Maybe it’s not the newest, fanciest place, but the staff is super and make it special. They helped us with nice trips around Ella, transport to the airport and lovely breakfasts every morning. The view is outstanding and you can relax in the comfy chairs on the terras or on your own balcony. Great stay. A big thanks to Priyantha.

Just a little note the WiFi wasn't always working

This place has the ultimate view on Ella's nature, you can see from Adam's peak to the Ravana waterfalls. You could simply enjoy the whole day the view and do some birdwatching as the fauna is simply stunning. The room we had was much better in real than in picture, we jad a nice balcony where to enjoy the landscape. Beds and pillow were comfy too, and I liked the fact that there was no single use toiletries, or plastic straw and so on... I little bit of attention to the environment is always a plus for me The staff is incredibly kind and helping, the breakfast was good with fresh fruit, roti roll, fresh juice and so much more... My husband is really not the early bird type, but he got up at sunrise to enjoy once again this heaven on hearth

Extremely friendly staff helping us out, led by the ever helpful Piayatha. They cooked for us both nights and the food was great and a good price. The also helped us out with local advance and transport. It's the best stay we had in Sri Lanka so far. View from the hotel was amazing!!

The views from the room were amazing - we loved sitting on the balcony in the afternoon to relax! We generally walked down into the town (about 15min walk) and took a tuk tuk back up.

I was wondering why this 2 star hotel have a rating of 9+ before I went there, once in there I realize the place deserves such high ratings. Hotel was very clean and very cosy, nice drawings and very beautiful decorations in the rooms and hotel. very nice view of the mountains from the hotel, if you can wake up around 5.30 in the morning you can see the sun rises from the mountains. The hotel staffs are very friendly and very helpful. They breakfast was good also we ordered couple of times dinner from the kitchen, it’s was superb. The kothu I had there is the best in all the meals i had in Ella. Special thanks to chef Priyantha. He was awesome. Stayed there for 3 nights and had a very pleasant time.

Seems as the mosquito net was not cleaned prior the visit

The view from the room's balcony was spectacular. Perfect place to relax. Very comfortable bed. Shower had hot water and was very clean. Lovely hosts, Milan is adorable. The city center is just 5min ride in a tuktuk or a 10-15min walk through the railway tracks.

It was an excellent accomodation with amazing view and very friendly and helpful staff. We had to check-out very early morning and they packed away foods for breakfast. We could pay with card despite previous comment . The room hasn't got AC but it isn't needed in this area in Sri Lanka (Hill Country) Highly recommend.

We had a cold shower one morning and luke warm the next. The solar hot water probably isn't big enough for all of the guests, especially if most shower in the evening. Both nights we stayed the chief was off which meant a reduced menu. One night we chose to eat out instead, but the second night we were content but it did take over an hour for the food. It was large and tasty when it arrived though.

The views from the room and the dining area are brilliant. The breakfast was huge, with a mix of fruit, toast, juice, tea/ coffee, fried eggs, plus some Sri Lankan fare. They have a good nap of the area and the different attractions and approximate prices for a tuk tuk to get there.
