It’s a little far to walk at night, but easy tuktuk ride

The view from our room blew our minds! Was like watching a screen saver. Super kind hosts, cute breakfast and perfect for a 2 night stay.

The VEIWS!! I could just sit out and stare at the views all day. We rented a scooter right from the hosts which made life easy to get around. It is located very close to town, just up a big hill! Great breakfast as well! Definitely recommend

Entrance Stairway was steep & a little difficult to climb down if you have knee pain! Definitely difficult if you have luggage to carry but the staff helped to carry them. Breakfast could improve a little! No options were available. Had to take what they offerred. We got fruit, eggs, toast & pancakes! Pancakes were not very well done! Should have given at least 1 item more (maybe sausages)! It's a little bit of walk to Ella Centre! Rs.500/= for a Tuk Ride. Staff arranged Tuks for us at our request.

Nice View! Rooms & bathrooms were clean. Beds were very comfortable. Staff were very nice & cordial. Helped us with luggage, arranged Tuks for us & recomnended a good restaurant in Ella centre for us to have Dinner.

The best views around - Little Adam’s Peak, Ella Rock, Small Rawana Waterfall. The place is clean, tidy, the upper floor built recently - new and fresh. A great staff - helpful and professional. Prianti (I hope, I put his name correctly) assistance was great. Some said, the access is a bit steep to the place. We did not find it to be a problem, since the staff helped to carry the luggage. Great breakfast, a wildlife around (different birds). 5 minutes by tuktuk to/from town center. A perfect place to stay in Ella.

The staff - particularly Dinesh,Priampht & Mila - were very friendly and could not have been more helpful and made our stay there very enjoyable. Good food too. I in The view over Ella Gap is breathtaking and it’s an easy hike into the lively small town.

Amazing value for money with an absolutely spectacular view! All the staff were SO lovely from arrival to departure and were accomodating to any requests. The rooms are pretty basic (clean and comfortable) but why you stay here is for the amazing view both from your own balcony and the shared restaurant/lounge area. Would highly recommend!

Everything was absolutely 10/10 but above all, the view completely took our breath away!!! When we first walked onto the patio we were completely speechless (and spent many mornings & afternoon sipping tea & enjoying the view). The staff were so friendly & very helpful with arranging vehicles to town & other activities. If you are going to Ella, you MUST stay here!

Such a brilliant stay! The view, the staff and the breakfast were amazing! Dinesh and his colleagues couldn’t do enough for you, we booked a trip with them to the Nine Arch Bridge and the Waterfall highly recommended! One of our best stay in Sri Lanka so far, would definitely return.

All the people working there made us instantly feel amazing! They were so nice and kind to us! The view is great! In the dining area you can observe the endemic hornbill, the giant squirrel and many more animals! We will definitely be back!

There was nothing that we didn't really like, I would just be aware that there are around 15-20 steps down to the hotel and therefore if you are unable to go up or down stairs then this may not be for you however the owners may have another access that we did not know about.

First thing to memtion was that there is only one word for the view from this place - incredible. It really does look like the pictures. The location is also great, a short 5 minute Tuk Tuk ride to the main street. One of the great things here is the staff are all nice however a special mention and thanks has to go to Prianta. He was always very happy and smiling and was a mine of good information on where to go and what to see. He always tried to help and accomodate us and for that we are grateful. If you decide to eat at the hotel I would highly recommemd the rotti/roll, it was easily one of the best thinga we had in Sri Lanka. The room was also very comfortable with a good shower, mosquito nets and amazing views over the valleys. There was no AC however at this elevation there was no need for it. If you need it, the hotel can also arrange trips to see the main things around Ella and can give you a TukTuk ride to the centre for a small fee. Overall, a highly enjoyable stay and would definately recommend it to others if staying in Ella.
