Dirt and mould everywhere. The smells in the room was just horrible. It smells mouldy. After 2 nights my clothes smells moisture. The bedsheets were dirty and smells as used. There is no proper parking spot for the car or tuc tuc. You have to park opposite the big construction, which is open from 6 to almost 11 PM. You can pay by card, but they forgot to tell that they charge additional 3%. Highly not recommend. This was the worst and the most expensive accommodation in Sri Lanka. For almost 65$ per night is just unacceptable.

Getting to the property is a big challenge....Steep slope which makes it awkward for the car to reach the Hotel... Only positive thing is the location which is worth it... The staff is also good and helpful....

The rooms were not clean and the insects and cockroaches both in the rooms and common areas.

The view of the hotel was spectacular but unfortunately the room was not as clean (they do not clean on a daily basis or change bathroom towels until you leave) and we had few cockroaches in the bathroom. Unfortunately it was raining for our entire stay so this did not help.

Adjacent noisy construction started early and ran late on our first night. The entrance is accessed via a narrow, steep staircase, which wasn't the greatest during the rain. Water pressure was almost non-existent. Wifi was very slow. The room felt damp all the time and bugs were able to get in through openings in the terrace door. Lastly, we noticed a wet dog smell in the room when we first arrived, we later figured out it was being caused by sewer gas from the bathroom shower drain.

The staff was amazing. Very helpful, attentive and friendly. The view was absolutely spectacular. Beds were very comfortable.

What was written on booking dot com was different to what was in the premises. It was written on booking dot com that the kitchen was part of the room but the kitchen was communal. Also the mosquito net was not properly aligned with the bed. The bathroom light was flickering. Also the fan remote was not working properly.

The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was very good. One constructive idea, it would be good if the breakfast items are listing every morning to the guests and it must be limited per guest rather than providing unlimited eggs etc: We noticed some of the guest were taking advantage of this unlimited breakfast.

I did not like all the rest of things. The access is a nightmare, long, old and narrow stairs, around 50 steps! There are no restaurants, shops or anything nearby, the rooms are old fashioned and dirty, in my opinion it should not cost more than 20€/night, and I payed 4 times more, after the booking ratings. I really do not understand.

The views from the hotel are amazing, sun rising, waterfalls, monkeys, all the valley. The staff is also friendly and helpful.

There were some broken and generally unclean surfaces in the room. The bathroom didn’t feel clean. No bottled water replacement every day, which is standard at every other place we’ve stayed. Noisy common area, so being next to that was less than ideal!

It's quite basic for the rate, but I went at a popular time of year... the wifi didn't work very well in my room, they could do with a booster.

Lovely stay, it was nice being a walk away from the town and I was grateful for the recommendation to take the train tracks as a short cut. The view from the hotel is amazing, the perfect spot to see Little Adams Peak, Ella Rock and one of the many waterfalls. The breakfast was nice, generous, and the staff were really friendly.

The hotel and the facilities are already a bit older and might need some refurbishment. Important to mention is also that credit card payment is not possible. The way to the hotel might also not be manageable for people with limited mobility. The only way to the hotel is a long and relatively tight staircase. The road to the entrance of the staircase is tight and very steep. An experienced driver is highly recommended.

The hotel is situated in an amazing position offering a gorgeous view over the valley of Ella and the "Little Adams Peak" and the sunrise in the morning. Our special thanks goes to the hotel team of Dinesh, Milan, and Priyantha (the cook), which helped us perfectly with everything needed!

We did not get the room we wanted.The view of our room was not good enough. All we wanted was the view and it was disturbed by some trees.

The place was nice and clean. Staff was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the presentation was amazing. Loved the breakfast time with the amazing view.
